Is anyone having a more exciting Sunday than me? I am clearing/cleaning kitchen cupboards... out of date items so far include:
- tomato and roast garlic pasta sauce
- barley miso paste
- two packs of Japanese sprinkles
- rosemary crispy Italian flatbreads
I am embarrassed at:
A) the waste (there will be more...)
B) how terribly middle class I have possibly become

Indeed... amongst the rest of my out of date cupboard, I came across fig, plum and cranberry biscuits and truffle butter... I’m blaming my other half for the biscuits - I hardly ever buy biscuits...
I did discover my stoopwaffles are nearly out of date - one is currently softening on my final cuppa of the day... rock n roll Sunday in my house

I think my day might have been better than five hours standing on a train... I found the cupboard clear out quite therapeutic...

Our trains are shit.. it is a unifying thing... maybe a good thing really.. we can disagree on politics and religion and brexit, but as a nation we are unified when it comes to how shit our trains are...
