having a problem! Any help?

Well, for one, i have it set up so that its NOT supposed to send email to me every time some one responds to a thread i'm in. but it just DOESNT WORK! I get sooo many emails and its begining to get annoying cause i can barely see what is there besides the "reply" ones. Any help? why wont it work? Bah, and the other thing is that it was automaticly joining me to any thread i join, and now its not, does anyone know how to fix that?

Changing the "E-mail notification by default" in your profile only stops NEW posts from triggering e-mails. To stop the e-mails generated by old posts in active threads, you need to edit EACH post that has the e-mail notification flag set.

If you're "subscribed" to a thread, you WILL get e-mails whenever the thread is posted to, so not being automatically subscribed is a good thing. If there are threads you want to keep track of without getting tones of e-mail, then add them to your favorites list so you can go directly to them.
