I wanted to answer this one (and I started this like three times, damn people keep interrupting me...it's like they somehow think I'm working or something...
)As a kid, we used to go apple picking and of course, we would just take one right off the tree and eat it.
But the best time was when I was in Valencia Spain. The city has a park that runs down through the middle, it's an old riverbed. Growing in one section of the park is a big grove of orange trees and you can just pick them, and eat them. It was really kind of weird, to just be walking along and then, stop and have an orange...but it was a good weird.

Well, that depends on what you mean by "nothing." We've always cooked a turkey and trimmings and pumpkin pie. Sometimes just for us, or us and the kids. Indeed, that's what we did last year (first time in a lot of years we didn't have people over). Sometimes it's just what you need. It surely was for us last year.
