I'm thinking of taking a vacation to Guerneville, on the Russian River in Sonoma County, CA. It's a very gay friendly town, the resort is gated, clothing optional and gay friendly.

I have been to a few in Southern California. The first time, my companion just ruined the whole thing. So I went back about a month later, by myself. I had a great time!! Skiing during the day, then great food, drink, and companionship (how much and how far depends on you). They are a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Although many of the staff were straight, they were all very nice, and totally accepting of gay/bi activity. No public sex - you have to go back to your room for that, but fonding through clothes and kissing were accepted. I would recommend, that if you can afford, go try one for a weekend, and see how you feel (ie - did it meet your expection, was it worth the extra cost, etc.).

I've been on a gay cruise. It was a great circuit party atmosphere the entire week.

I've been to one here in Australia. It was a mens only clothing optional resort, very secluded, so you could sit around the pool naked all day if you like.
