Have others had much luck in finding people to chat too on the lit personals area?

Slightly off topic tagline to catch people's attention. I wanted to give lit personals a go and hopefully find a someone who is up for some mutual flirty/casual sexting.

I've talked to a good number of people from Lit, and usually, not just about "sex." I've had conversations that went off-Lit into Skype, texting, and instant messenger. (Yes, instant messenger. Old school.)

In some cases, we had exchanges for an intense couple days. In other cases, we are still "friends," exchanging "How are you?" messages years after we first started talking on Lit.

How do you find people like that? I think you get the energy you give.

Cannot agree with this enough.

Look for the personality and mutual interests and your nether regions will respond accordingly!

Been lucky enough to sext, befriend and even meet on this platform.

All starts with human interaction and gauging that compatibility

Yes agreed but it's getting that chat started - with a bit of flirting is the first hurdle. It's almost a way of checking compatibility before going that next step - if there is one. The live chats rarely but sometimes work - but then you are assuming everyone on the live chat is in the right mood. With messaging the talk back doesn't have to be so immediate with the odd flurry if it works out.

Interacting on the threads is the best way to get to know someone on Lit, in my experience and opinion. Doesn't have to be in real time, either.
