expecting one thing and getting another?

I was reading JL's thread I thought that I would rather have the inbetween time than the "its not how its supposed to be" relationship time.

The time where you ask yourself if you made a mistake.

And doubts and worries creep up,until they start making you ill.

Do you try to steer the relationship back to where it was,or just go with the flow. Its just not your flow you are going with.

I tend to go with the flow...although I admit there are times when I wish a relationship would go one way but it goes in another. I'm at a point in my life though that I just ride the currents where ever the river takes me.

It really depends on how much is it worth fighting for. There are times we all want to say "fuck this" and run for the hills. In my case it seems the quick sand always catches my legs before I can get any traction though.

Thats it in a nutshell.

And I just noticed a typo..geez.....

The "flow" in a relationship is always a give and take, after all, it takes two to tango. You have to think about it every step of the way.

BTW, you two ladies are lovely. :rose: I like both your AV's too.

From keeping me from having to do all those typo's to say it just the way you did.

:D

You're welcome...personally I like typos...they sometimes make sentences really really interesting. Sometimes even naughty!!

Doubt and worries will make you ill. Talk about it. Even if the other person is not big on communication make him/her sit and listen to what you have to say. It's therapeutic just to get those doubts, fears, and worries off your chest.

It works for me.

Well said.

Then, too, recall the old spanish proverb, which I cannot quote precisely for a variety of reasons this morning, but it's close to:

Hold on lightly and let go lightly;
these are the secrets to feleicity in love.
