Instead of being passive about it, why don't you start a sympathy thread in which you:

1. Explain the problem in minute detail.
2. Ask for advice.
3. Reject any advice that's offered on the grounds of pertinent details that you omitted previously.
4. Question the value of your humanity (essential for any great sympathy thread)
5. Get your ego stroked, and stroked and stroked.

I'm not trying to make light of your situation. I just think this kind of thread would be great fun. People love mystery, drama, and happy endings. So instead of making us work so hard to get to square one, just lay it out for us. If you play it right, this could be really fun. I bet you you'll get a lot of love. And maybe even get to the bottom of what's buggin' you.

WHOA!!!!! chill out chica! i didn't find you insensitive at all. you tell it like it is. i'd have said the same if i felt it, but i wouldn't apologize for it later. don't worry. u weren't insensitive. i really didn't eventhink my response seemed like i was miffed or upset, but as i indicated...i'm a bit abrasive. or so i'm told. i have no problem with brutal honesty...it usually isn't brutal enough. and most importantly...i don't hve one set of rules for me and one for everyone else.
