Happy International Lesbian Day! What's your favourite lesbian story or scene on Lit?

Last time I tried that with my kids, they just asked if we could at least stop at McDonald’s. I wanted to say no, principle and all, but they were running on fumes. So, you know… they won. The little bastards.

Mathematically speaking, McDonald’s is just two inverted parabolas pretending to be happiness.....

Fair enough. However, @StillStunned I still demand you provide "a truly happy [lesbian] ending" as previously advertised. I want U-hauling to Hartford, carabiners, hairties around wrists, short nails, wedding bells, spermdoners and herb gardens. Either write one yourself (preferred option) or read around until you find one. 😉
I have a non-lesbian series that ends with the couple moving in together and adopting a kitten. Lesbian-wise, the closest I can offer at this time is "betraying the human race to a demon for a chance of love". Looking at my portfolio, apparently I don't really do unambiguously happy and conclusive endings.

Until I get my writing mojo back, I can also offer you "best friends *not* having lesbian sex", or "estranged friends seduce the gardener", and even a chapter of "bereaved mothers grow close and have zero-G shower sex".

**shakes head and gives best disappointed teacher look**

If this is the best you can do, it's just not good enough I'm afraid. B- for effort.

(Though I did enjoy the last one.)

Haha, this is the exact comment I dread to get whenever I ask you to beta-read for me. That’s why my cursor hovers over the send button for 20 seconds while my brain throws a small panic party complete with worst-case scenarios, before I finally hit send and share my first draft with you.

(Should be noted that T is nothing like this. She is clear, kind and supportive in her feedback - always has been!)

Trying to come up with some slightly more obscure offerings made for a fun diversion from all the stupid yard work I had to do today. I came up with about four possibilities for you, Ms. Gato, only to discover you had already left comments on three of them! That just left All In. It is a bit older and easy to overlook because it's the writer's only offering in that category. I enjoyed it, though, and I certainly felt it had a happy ending!

Awesome, thanks!

Yes, I have read everything that's been recommended so far in this thread (including Gideon the Ninth, which I didn't think was all that. It's just The Hunger Games with necromancy. I didn't hate it, but it didn't make me want to read the sequels either. Hmmm, maybe I should have put that in the "controversial opinions thread".)

My new story is pending for two months allready, but it's something you might like when it finaly gets published...
