Today I was told that instead of doing zoning at Walmart, I'll be a people-greeter. Easy, AND fun. I LOVE people. Also, I overheard a friend of mine is single. I've been trying to get up my courage to ask her out for a week now. I was afraid she already had a boyfriend,(considering she's HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I have an opening. Wish me luck.

I hate zoning. I hate cashiering. I hate being a door greeter. I pretty much loathe all of it. But I hate being a door greeter the most. There has got to be something incredibly wrong with you if you like to stand by a door and dispense yellow happy faces to children and say hiya to people who think you'll be easy to sneak some DVDs by. There's no nutella there either.

The thing I like the most about it

I deal with EACH customer. Instead of a selected few. Plus, if I get bored,(between down time, if there's such a thing at WalMart,) I can chat with the customer service rep, who is pretty cool. PLUS, we get a 5 minute break EACH hour, plus the normal 15 min. So, it's not as I'll be just saying "Hi" to people. Also, from zoning, my backs, killing me. At least being a people greeter, my back won't have to bend, and stretch. The time DOES fly by QUICKLY when your doing something EACH second.
