Halloween Contest Support Thread

Maybe Harry needs a side kick, someone to breathe life into him again. Hmmm, someone like uh, Bald Pussa, the Prussian Russian.

Uh, maybe not.

I'm not sure what he needs, Tex. It's just a matter where that kind of humor is hard to write these days. Some spark that inspired him is gone.

A quick rules question from a Noob, if I might?

In other parts, I have been known from time to time to do 'snuff'/'vore'/other dark erotica and I have already read the rules here so I know it's not permissible, but Halloween is a good time to crank out an idea that always comes to me while writing these... what if the victim comes back for her revenge?

Don't have an actual plot yet, just this concept. But before I waste any time on it, what would be the bounds so that I could give some flavor of what happened to the victim (obviously just coming out with it would violate Lit. rules.) How much can I 'show don't tell' on this without getting myself in trouble?

The line here is fairly clear, I think. The very risky stuff of sexual snuff and the like is totally out of order. Often, especially at Samhain, the stories of vampires, the half-dead even the voodoos seem to flourish.

My take is that the gorier it becomes, the more 'other-worldly' your story needs to be.

Okay, but if she's undead, is it still necrophilia?

No, definitely not! Having sex with the undead is a rite of passage for any girl at college.

Serious, the necrophilia stuff is a bit of a fetish best avoided. Just keep with the 'other worlders' - in the vacuum between this world and Heaven or Hades and you're fine.

The story I refer to is not all gory. It's about a mortician who has sex with a dead woman who is young and attractive and who has been left in his care.

One of these days I am going to finish my next tentacle story and submit it for a Halloween contest...

Ok... in the middle of the night I had this vision of a story. The giraffes were homophobic, the bear was gay and the homeless guy had a 12 inch cock. Now how do I tie it to Halloween?

Good lord! What do you smoke at midnight, Jenny? :D

I think it's time for a return of Teddy and more tentacles. Pregnancy is always a hot option from my point of kink. Uh, how do we let Laurel know that stories are going to be linked into a series?

You can't yet. If the beginning of the titles are similar enough, then the series feature does a fair job of catching them.

For example, it lists "Prelude" and "Epilogue" within the series for Danica in the correct sequence, along with those labeled "pt. xx"

My Magic Of the Wood series still gets listed as individual stories, though, because it's the last half of the title that links them, rather than the beginning.

"Lynn and Lee" and my VR : DQ series get a series listing, because that's the beginning of every title.

Actual ability to organize a series yourself is supposed to be in the cards, but it hasn't been implemented yet.

Aw fudge! Oh well, eventually it will happen and then I can post them under the heading of "Kinky Little Kollege". It's the sort of place I'd really like to teach in!

OMG. The Great Pumpkin is a tranvestite Dom with a flogger and leathers :D

Believe me, I know the feeling. I'd love to have my VR : DQ series listed in the proper sequence ( the reading order doesn't follow the game #. It jumps from DQ4, to DQ2, to DQ3, to DQ5, to DQ1's world ), my Magic of the Wood series grouped, and finally put the actual titles of the Arts Ardane in there, without having to abandon the series title that I absolutely love *laugh*

A couple of years ago someone started a thing where everyone wrote a story titled "Trick or Tryst." That was fun :D
