Haiku

I would like to try
writing stories in nothing
but silly haikus

then as I sit here
racking my brain for ideas
I'm coming up short

it seems to me, that
poetry might not be, the
medium for me

but I shan't give up
because one day I'll succeed
in this endeavor

maybe not today,
or not even tomorrow.

‘twas dark and stormy
the shadows full of slithers
and whispers of lust

a young bride and groom
in black and confetti-d white
seeking sunset's kiss

and finding instead
a vile sinuous bondage
a devouring fate

run, my love, he cries
but his mouth is soon too full
and urged to swallow

her screams break the night
with loud anguished denial
and desperate need

till the sun rises
on those deflowered lovers
bathed in monstrous cum

Well, I'm impressed. Best I can do is:

i7 = 1;
while (i7 < 3)
i7++;

ETA: And even that doesn't work. :-( I'll have to try better.

Well, I'm impressed. Best I can do is:

i seven equals one semicolon
while open parenthesis i seven is less than three closed parenthesis
i seven plus plus semicolon

a haiku is ten,
then nineteen, followed by nine,
syllables in line

broken, shattered to pieces
rules and laws are dust

To be clear:

i seven equals one [oops 6 syllables]
while i seven less than three
i seven plus plus
