Wow 30 minutes on a 'puter and this is the first place I check out. Al-anon has no cure for being a litaholic.
Well, we've settled into the Florida routine. Where I live is like heaven's waiting room (ie-lots of senior citizens). They drive their little golf carts to the grocery store.
The weather here has been beautiful. The past few nights have dropped down to the *gasp* high 40's. Now in Ohio that would never have bothered me, but all of a sudden I freeze when it hits the 50 mark. It's pretty hard to get in the Christmas spirit when Santa wears bermuda shorts.
What I don't like about central Florida: Palmetto bugs in the shed, lizards in my shower and tiny frogs that hop across the yard.
We have some awesome lakes all around us (prolly why they call it Lake County
), and we've been going on picnics and checking them out. Some really cool Christmas light displays also.
The kids are adjusting well. Better than I expected. Funny thing, my oldest's first day of school, she was introduced by the teacher who told the class she was from Ohio, and one kid spoke up and said "Oh cool, you were close to King's Island." My daughter thought that was funny, 'cause all she wants to do is go to Disney, and her classmates just shrug that idea off.
I guess the best news of all is, I have an appointment the first week of Jan. to file for divorce. YAYAYAYAYAY!!!!!! Pretty ecxcited 'bout that.
So that's about it. Big thanx go out to all the Santas of the board (you know who you are
). I miss everyone, and hope to have a phone and 'net access by the first of the year.
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR LITEROTICA!!!
