They did have a breakdown on what components of a hamburger costs more.

• Russia glutted the market with wheat until 2021 to raise foreign currency reserves to buy military weapons, now there's a bit of a shortage and bread prices are up 39%
• No such thing as global warming, but droughts caused cattle farmers to cull their herds for two years running, driving up basic beef prices.
• The greediest though are the evil Mexican tomato cartels, which have simply raised prices significantly each year on tomatos because there is no pushback

I read somewhere that prices on the "economy" brands and the prices at "discount" food stores, etc went up the most.



I honestly believe the game by the corporations, is to make the general public feel the pain, and have them blame the current President.



If the polls are to be believed, the public does blame President Biden, and they think the corrupt orange traitor would do better on the economy., despite it being rich individual’s and corporation’s malign actions (price gouging / profiteering) that are a main source of economic pain for the general public.



President Biden had better hammer on the evidence of corporate greedflation / profiteering in the next few months, and put the blame where it belongs.

President Biden should also link the corporations with the corrupt orange traitor who gave those corporations a massive tax cut, only to have them reward the general public with price gouging and profiteering.

TikTok (citation needed) had a video on how an entire run of Walmart's Great Value discount bacon was produced in one week....but they "erroneously" labeled every single one the 8 ounce packages as 16 ounces and of course the 16 ounce label bar codes rang them up as 16 ounces.

Totally off-topic, but the Aunt Jemima bottle (especially the fact that it's empty) reminded me of that recent spate of name changes, although I don't think it's necessary in the case of their competitor Mrs. Butterworth's.
