Ok, I won't get into the whole which is better debate. Just accept that I believe 2 to be better than the original.

One scene, when Michelle Pfiefer's character rebuffs his advances and sings the cool rider song got me thinking.

Now my point. Isn't every man's dream to just have the woman they crave to come out and bluntly tell him exactly what they want? I'd rather have that brutaility and honesty right up front. Ladies I think you'd be surprised just how often we men can live up to those expectations when you hit us in the face with them.

Well, I didn't really want this to degrade into a 1 vs 2 debate because I've had it for years numerous times.

My point it's a personal preference of the story line. I like the whole cool girl, smart guy thing. It just strikes a chord with me. I don't expect other people to get that, but that's why I like it.

As for Grease 1, it doesn't have that appeal to me so the campyness and annoying songs just don't work for me.

Again, it's just my opinion. My point was really more on the story line.
