Grace and I want to know about your slippers please!

So Grace and I are all Yahooing from here to eternity, talking about cookies, cocoa, Doms, Dommes and Tops, pain, nail polish, lipstick, gender bending, friends, Bronn's bootay, Shanky's fine dress sense and hottie ms hotterson's pictures, Netzach being minorly evil, oh all sorts of stuff.

Our conversations tend go wonky like that.

Anyway, we got talking about role-bending, and slippers, and so we were wondering....

Tell us about your slippers? What do yours look like? Got any pictures? Are they at odds with your image, be it sophisticated, Domly, subbly, zany, weird? Some people are surprised that I do wear normal slippers sometimes. It depends on my mood.

I have a pair of bunny slippers, and a pair of blue fluffy ankle boot sorta slippers. Eventually, I'll post pics. And I'm fond of those thick slipper socks with gripper thingies on the bottom. I have three pairs; stripes, spots, and camouflage.

The best two pairs I ever had were my Eeyore slippers, which I eventually wore out, and a pair of bear slippers where the the bear face was looking up at you (or up your nightie ) and your foot came up out of his mouth. So the bears were either eating your feet or pervin' on your panties. Or lack thereof.

We have hardwood floors. Unless I'm running a fever my hands and feet are always ice cold. Some folks around here scream about that.

I have a pair of green plush froggie slippers.

Dutch people celebrate Sinterklaas, the day when St. Nick comes to fill the shoes of good kids with treats, and the shoes of the bad kids with coal.

My first Sinterklaas with my sweetie, he showed up at my door with this pair of green fuzzy plush froggie slippers, filled with chocolate.


I wear them on really really cold days.

I have several pairs. My current favorite and most worn pair are pastel pink (my favorite color) with white fur trim on the part that goes around the base of my ankle. Then there's a small pink bow that has two white fur pom-poms on each end.

I also have pastel pink ankle bootie style slippers that zip up the front. I think I got rid of my panda bear slippers that looked like how Snowy Ciara described her bear slippers.

I love this one pair of slipper socks that I have. They are super, super soft, with very loose elastic which I like because that way they don't leave marks on my legs when I take them off. They are pastel pink (big surprise, huh?) and very cozy. I just got a new pair that are a little bit shorter and are different shades of green stripes.

I don't know what image people have of me, so I don't know if they are at odds with my image. I don't think they are at odds with the image I have of myself, though.

Mine are very dirty since they were hidden under the bed... well one were hidden under the bed, the other one hidden in the back of my wardrobe!

Until recently, I usually wore socks but since finding both slippers, I wear them every day.

Usually bright pink and fluffy, they now look very dirty but that's the way I like them! *laughs*

Yep very comfortable!

A good friend gave them to me for Christmas a couple of years ago. Never wore them that often....until recently! *laughs*

So what kind of slippers I have had in the past?

Let me try to think that back.........

Had pink slippers (silimar to the ones I have on but not fluffy!)

Frog-like slippers

Blue slippers (like shoes but with soft linings)

Black slippers with mickey mouse logo on them!! *laughs*

That's all I can remember.....and no, all slippers I wore is not an image of the real me...expect my current ones, I think they are a part of me...?

I rarely use slippers at all, I mainly walk around bare feet, or just in socks. Living in an apartment with wooden floors it have of course lead to a few splinters into my feet, but such is life!

I make it a point to get a pair of shitty slide ons in Chinatown when I go home. Which I can rarely find when I want them, so I'm usually barefoot and cold.

Don't wear slippers. My feet are fairly sensitive and unless I have to put something on them (like for work) I prefer to be barefoot.

I wear shoes all day long at work and when going out on errands. I'm usually bare footed at home. I do have wall to wall carpets, though.

I've been told I have nice feet for a man. So sandals work well for me.

White Tinkerbell ones

Black Tinkerbell ones.

Grumpy Bear (Care Bear) ones

Soft, squishy pink ones that are brand new, haven't been worn yet

and Fuzzy black ones that i would wear more often but they scare my 1 yr old.


i only wear slippers or flip flops inside my home for the most part, and just socks is deadly on my floors. i would break something.

HUGE Winnie the Pooh slippers, kids bought them for me. I hate them. They have no padding at all on the bottom and are too slippery. Make me feel like I am gonna fall down on my ass and break my frigging neck. Worn three times, once by me.. and twice by the 7 year old daughter who purchased them for me as a gift. I can't get rid of them. She keeps track of where they are... I think. About a year old.

My favorite pair: Plain old fuzzy black slippers. They have holes. They are thread bare. They are warm, comfortable and have good traction. Great for trips to the bus stop to pick up the kids or out to walk the dog. About 4 years old.

Numerous pairs of toe-socks in all colors... most being striped.. and one pair is trimmed with feathers at the knee. These are my FAVORITE....... way better than slippers. But, no good for trips to pick up the kids or out to walk the dog. Can't win them all.
