Got Guilt?

Is there something that makes you feel guilty, even years after it happened?

it can be sex guilt:
like masturbating at work

Doesn't have to be sexy, it can be:
Ecoguilt, from using cleaning chemicals and driving a car
or
Breastfeeding guilt - will my baby be all right even thought I didn't breastfeed him?

Or even, anything-you-like guilt.

Got guilt all over me. Smoker's guilt.

Human guilt. I was raised Catholic. U name it, I got it- strangely enough, except for sex. If I have any sexual guilt, I've stuffed it so damned deep not even I can find it.

Guilt for calling this one girl fat (well, something worse actually) when she pissed me off, but she took it harder than I realized she would.

Then self-guilt for not making the moves on some girls I could have made the moves on. I only hurt me, but it still feels like guilt pains.

I try not to feel guilty.

I feel guilty about the stupidest things. Usually stuff that is out of my control anyway. Like the time when I went with my Grandfather to visit his brother in hospital. Before I left I said I'd come back and visit him again. The old boy died within the week.
So that I wouldn't have broken my word I went to the funeral. My Grandfather was the only person there who knew who I was, but I had to go because I needed to do it.

I've lived a pretty blameless life. Sure sometimes I've been a bit of a bastard, but who hasn't?

Most of my guilt is broken promises. Especially the ones I can never keep.

Had you fully known the circumstances, you never would have.
I think intent, in this situation, is the entirety of the guilt/non guilt.

Therefore, you are not guilty. You feel guilty; that's what sucks ass.
