Agree. Very impressive background. And man, what a big change in VA. As National Journal columnist Josh Kraushseer noted moments ago: “Some context on just how blue Virginia has been lately, long before Trump. Republicans hadn't won a single statewide office since *2009* -- 12 years ago. Totally locked out of government since then.”

Just think of the Dem All-Stars that came to stump for Terry Mac: Obama, Biden, Harris...and they got nothing.

Dems are winning the NJ governor election, the special Congressional election in Ohio, and the mayoral race in NYC.
 
McAuliffe lost when he said that parents did not have the right to determine the education of their children. Any effort to blame whites for black problems is critical race theory. White parents do not want their children to be taught that.

*chuckle* The two districts that the dems are winning (OH and FL) were too blue to go any other way. The FL district was Alcee Hastings district. You know, the impeached Federal Judge. Nothing to brag about in either one of those races.

NJ is interesting. Biden took the state by 19 pts in 2020 and here the race is less than one pt. The dem will most likely win but it should have never been this close. A learning moment? We shall see.
 
It's hard for me to celebrate that anyone has been given a crown and a mandate to rule over other people. I'm shooting for the moon and hoping that some day we can roll back this idea that we need rulers. But, that said, I'm happier to have a conservative in that role than a progressive.

So, for what it is worth, congratulations to the GOP. Now, get to cutting back the intrusion of government and get out of our lives.
