They finally lost the signal from Pioneer 10 yesterday. It was launched on March 2, 1972 from Cape Kennedy. A year ago it was on the outer edge of our solar system and could not manuver and transmit at the same time it was so weak. In three hundred thousand years the Constellation Taurus will get a visitor.

I think if we don't kill ourselves first that we will someday catch up to it. I would love to be on that ship.

Thats so cool in a very strange way. 31 years of service in providing the world with views, and other assorted things we could never quite see before

Why can't it manuver and transmit at the same time?
Is it a prob with the craft or is it the distance?

Whatever it's still cool.

Space the final yadda yadda.

Enjoy the view pioneer 10...and thanks!

I wonder if they have a AAA intergalatic roadmap enclosed, like Voyager?
Maybe someone will...return to sender!

HAL: "Will I Dream, Doctor?"
DOC: "I don't know HAL, I don't really know."

In a way, I envy it for the adventure.
