Good Saturday Morning 11/4/00

Good Morning everyone. It is a crisp 61 degrees here in the south. It is going to be partly cloudy and 71 today.

My plans for today, I have art class at 10:00, I am learning to sketch and getting pretty good at it. Today I begin using watercolor pencils so I am very excited to go today. Then a late lunch at the inlaws with my honey and the kids. Good food (isn't it always good when I do not have to cook) and playing pinochle are on the aggenda for their house.

What are your plans for the day?

Trying to get my 6 year old to understand that A)when you are sick, you need to rest, and B)rest doesn't necessarily mean sleep.

And making the list of things I need to move, not that I'm positive when that day will be...just getting excited about it.

Oh, and getting a Christmas list together.

And, trying to convince someone to go to the store and buy us some medicine and juice and soup to help us feel better.

I guess that's about it though.

What a good relaxing Saturday this is becoming. I bought the kids two new toys last night and though the Matchbox Car Wash is a totally cool thing, both kids are fighing over the $4.00 el cheapo baby. Kids....I could have gotten 4 babies for the price of the other!

Good morning, everyone! Have to go to work in a little while - still budget season for me. But then I get to see my nieces/nephew for dinner tonight and have some time to play with them in the evening. Auntie Cheyenne is even more poplular this time of year when I bring over toy catalogs and have them work on their Christmas lists!

Good Afternoon

still tryin' to get over the hangover from last night. *s* It's very smoky here today. We've had arsonists around town setting fires and since we've had less than an inch of rain in over two months, the fires spread rapidly. The smoke is very thick in the air... even could smell it in the mall earlier today.

Maybe going to see The Exorcist later on today. Scared the bejesus out of me when I was little but I still want to go see it on the big screen.
