I got engaged this weekend! My boyfriend, now fiancee, proposed on Saturday, and I am so excited, I tell just about anyone who will listen. Practically everyone but me knew, so it is exciting to be able to tell people who didn't know!

Here's some details..........

It was pretty romantic. We went out to a nice dinner, and then he wanted to go walking on the beach (he NEVER wants to go walking on the beach, so I should of known something was up). Well, it was starting to rain a little, so I was like, we don't have to go the beach and all, complaining. We ended up driving up the coast about 30 miles until we were on the other side of this storm. So we got out and took off our shoes, and started walking. I am like dragging him down the beach by the hand, and then he stops, and pulls me back to him, and is down on one knee. And I don't even really remember what he said because I was in shock. All I heard was 'Will you marry me?' So then I start yelling OhMyGod OhMyGod, and asking him if he was for real, and hugging and kissing him, and he says, so, what's you anwser? I screamed yes, and then knocked him over hugging him. It was beautiful out, because the sun had just set, and it was lightening out over the ocean from the storm. Then he put the most beautiful ring on my finger!!

He has a tendency to not be able to keep a secret, so he was pretty proud of himself he pulled it off. I had no idea whatsoever, I was actually thinking more like a year from now, so I was totally caught off guard. He was a nice guy, and told my parents first which was sweet. Now for the planning...........!!!
