I've been really searching hard for erotic movies and movies with erotica in them. I heard one movie titled, "A Cook, A Thief, His Wife & Her Lover" Is this movie any good? What other movies could someone recommend to me. I am searching for anything with real erotic, romantic, even with some pornographic movies that will help inspire me as a writer...

This is what I use as inspirations. I don't know how "good" they are, or how much of an inspiration they would be to you, but they help me write smut, which is all I am trying to do.

At the entry page to Lit., instead of clicking on "Stories and Pics", there is a group of sites. These provide pics and video clips for free, to be downloaded. Pick out some of the raunchiest ones and download them to a folder on your HD. I found "Tommy's Bookmarks" to be the best place to go but some of the others are allright also.

Right!

The Cook, The Thief made me ill. Not erotic. Troubling. Disturbing. And not in a Hey, that's sexy way.

9 1/2 Weeks is erotic.
Also troubling. But in a good way!

It's probably been 20 years since I saw it, but I recall a French film titled "Betty Blue" that I think was pretty hot. Also in the foreign soft-porn category, Nastassia Kinski did one called "Private School for Girls" or something like that, where the whole wing of the dormitory wore see-through baby-doll pajamas - just a classic of the genre!

Unfortunately, since the 80s it seems that porn has come to rely on a checklist of different sex acts (anal, facials) that constitute a "hot" scene, and that's about it.

I'm just currious what happens at the end of this movie. Many people have said that I'll have to wait and find out but I'm very reluctant to see it in this situation. Could someone post what happens at the end of this movie? A Cook, A Thief?

The Thief kills the Lover. The Cook and the Wife cook the Lover and serve him to the Thief.

(It's actually a damned good movie, but not what I would call erotic.)

jeffreysub you may enjoy some of Tinto Brass' erotic films from the mid eighties and nineties, I've just posted a review of Miranda if you'd like to read it. His films are very sexy, feature sexually capable women and are humorous. He says in an interview that his films have happy endings because he doesn't believe in guilt. I loved Miranda and am looking forward to watching more of his work. You can rent through Greencine.com or purchase through Cult Epics or Amazon.

Anybody remember 'Summer Lovers' with Peter Gallagher, Daryl Hannah, and some other chick? I haven't seen it in years, but at the time I thought it was pretty erotic.

'Henry and June' is one of my all time favourites as well.
There's always 'The Lover' with Jane March, very hot in a barely legal sort of way.

"The Thief kills the Lover. The Cook and the Wife cook the Lover and serve him to the Thief."

That doesn't make any sense!!! She doesnt kill her husband at all and isn't that a rather disgusting way of going about everything? Does she end up hating her lover or something?

I've heard of this movie but I hardly remember what it was about. Is it one of those obsession movies?

It's actually her revenge. She and the Lover realy understand and love food, as does the Cook. The Thief merely goes to try to pretend he's cultured - he's a crass buffoon - and to show off. In cooking him, they elevate the Lover to art; in feeding him to the husband, they issue a final taunt. (Her line is "Try the cock. At least you know where it's been.")

Then she shoots him. (Happy?)

One I've always had a hard spot for was 'Thief of Hearts'.

Professional thief robs a woman's house. Among the loot is her secret diary. He uses what's written in it to seduce her by fulfilling her fantasies.

In the hardcore category, 'Shock' and 'Latex' by Michael Ninn.

It is porn and if you look deep, it's still paint by numbers. But such well done paint by numbers that it takes a while to notice.

That movie still makes me tingle.

I also liked "Like Water for Chocolate" - it's very sensual, but I don't know that it would be exactly "erotic."

It will sound God-awful, but Playboy's "Inside Out" is actually well worth its purchase. It's a series of vignettes. Have patience; the first I think the worst of the lot. But there are several hysterical short comedy pieces - including two that are also very hot - and a brilliant little sci-fi story that was sweet, charming, and sexy. It's one of the only erotic (soft porn - no insertion shots) videos I've ever been tempted to watch multiple times. Really quite a lot of fun.

"Pillow Book" ends disturbingly, but has good, intense sex scenes as well.

And there's a ridiculously titled porn flick out there - "Love's Passion" or something - it's a little costume flick made hysterical by the actresses all having thong bikini tan lines under the Civil-War-Era dresses. But there is one excellent scene of an actor - by which I mean, someone actually acting - playing a solider who's come home to his wife. It's really quite moving at points, as well as delicious.

I've heard mixed reviews about this movie... Someone told me that the ending majorily sucked but I don't watch erotic movies for the endings lol.

Isn't this movie extremely sadistic and disgusting.... I meen doesn't she end up murdering her boyfriend in cold blood and using his skin to make a book? That's NASTY!!!

LOL oh well I'll try it out though. I love disgusting nasty erotic films! I heard about this one necrophiliac movie called Necromantik? I'm going to see it once although it looks extremely gross.

The end was silly. The build up was hot, and I really enjoyed the 'climax'. By my standards, the female protagonist was very sexy.

"Quills!!!" Has anyone recommended "Quills?" Oy! That was a hot movie, but a good story, too, in my opinion. :)

I didn't find 'Quills' all that hot.

It was a very good movie though. takes some doing to make a sympathetic character out of the Marquis de Sade.

Valerie Quennessen was the french girl in the movie. She was also the princess in Conan the Barbarian and had a good role in French Postcards. She had also done some TV in France. Unfortunately she was killed in an auto accident in 1989.

Sad. She was a very sexy woman.

Oh, I did and I thought it was an excellent movie. But some of that heat could be because I have a serious weakness for the whole priest falling from grace thing.

I might be going to hell for that... :(
