Either to you or by someone else (someone you know or even a complete stranger)

If you haven't, can you do it tomorrow? Give someone a compliment or get a compliment... help someone because you want to and it's the human thing to do...

My good deed today?

I think I did good by helping a guy at the grocery store pick out a nice wine within his budget. He was thankful. It was nice.

What happened in your world?

I helped an Indian lady get to her drs. office. I complimented the receptionist at therapy on how she looked. I wished all the therapists and staff a great weekend. I held the door for several people to get in to the building.
I asked the cashier at the store I shop at for food if she was feeling better, when I saw she was sniffling earlier in the week.(just allergies, lol)

I posted several compliments this evening, so I did well. ;):rose:

This is a nice thread. I stopped at the animal shelter today to feed and water the kitties so the regular staff could sleep in a little, or get an early start on their Thanksgiving travel.

Kittens!! I love kittens!!! I want a kitten...

awwww ty :rose: just don't call me a nice guy, lol :D

damn... OK ;)

During 4th of July, there was a small bike parade for the kids and this little 3 to 4 year boy got separated from his mother so I picked him, soothed his crying and we waited for his mommy in one spot after telling a cop of the situation. My son then entertained him while we waited until mom was found.

Helped with the dishes.

Gave ladyfriend the D.

I'm basically a humanitarian.

I helped a senior citizen with Adobe Lightroom/Photoshop.

I flew my mom out so she could spend Thanksgiving with her great grandson.

Most everyday here is a Pay It Forward day...

It's nice ot see whe have a thread for it here.
Sad that not many have posted but I am so glad to see the ones who have. :rose:

Yeah, I subscribed to this straight away, hoping there'd be more activity. It's nice what has been posted so far though. Today has been a stay at home with the little man day, but I did invite someone from another country over for dinner.

Driving in traffic the other day, I mistakenly got into the EZ pass lane and of course I have no business being in the EZ pass lane. So trying my best to merge over and nobody was letting me in until finally at the last minute a nice gentleman let me in front of him. Whew! So I paid his toll for him.

It's normally slower on the weekends for me too. But even on here, if someone needs to talk, I make time.

But while on a Wal-mart run this morning one of the guys I've knows for 10 years needed someone to talk to on his break. He'd had a friend kill himself last week and didn't have anyone he knew he could talk to about it. So we spent about 10 minutes in a quiet aisle talking about it.

I love hearing when people do that with tolls on the Skyway Bridge or coffee at a drive thru too. :rose:

I stopped a woman with her head in her phone from crossing a street against against the light and getting run over by oncoming traffic.

I got a nasty look, as she probably thought I was trying to grope her.

But, No good deed goes unpunished...

I'm baking cookies for a bake sale that will help fundraise money for my special needs students to go on more field trips this year. :)

Some people are so rude and unappreciative. You did the right thing. :)
You are right....let no good deed go unpunished.

Rolled the luggage for a woman in wheel chair who was being assisted by a skycap. He could not control her and her bags, so I rolled them to check in.

I just had to do that myself.
Craziness at the airports over the holidays.
Glad you were there!

Prayed for someone that couldn't care less about me and doesn't even know how fucked they are. :(

Had a party with all my close girlfriends where for each child you have you bring an unwrapped toy - we will donate those toys to my kids' school for their "Sub for Santa" program (there are about 15 kids between us!)

Took two "ornaments" off the Angel tree at church for my kids to buy presents for someone who is less fortunate than they are

I love gift wrapping, so I've been wrapping my friend's gifts for them. In lieu of payment, I've been asking for donations to our local food bank.
