Hey Kwt, if you have a day to spare, and $30 to spend on the (Guatemala exit fee). See if you can get over to the Tikal Ruins, if that's something that interests you. It's not THAT far from the border of Belize, depending on where in Belize you are actually going, North or South. If you want some info, PM me, and I'll be glad to let you know.
