Ghis (closed)

Kell laid his head against her shoulder, his hands gliding down her belly to her thighs. His shaft was still buried inside her as he hadn't pulled back yet. "I suppose... I might be able to delegate more of my tasks out to our people... maybe. Convince me," he demanded softly with a little smirk, enjoying the tiny bit of power he held over her in that moment. She was his queen, his commander, and his wife. As far as he was concerned, she was the matriarch and the leader in all they did together and the driving force in what he did separately. But in their moments alone, he liked to play with that little balance of power, sliding it to either side.

Kate shivered as Kell reminded her of the perdicament that she was currently rly in. His cock was hardened again, his long fingers caressing over her naked skin. She pushed him back from her, turning until she could slip down to her knees. Kneeling in front of him, she did just as he asked. She loved him in a way that only she could.

Giving him the power for the moment, Kate gently took his shaft and pulled him to her lips, welcoming him deeply inside. She let out a soft whimper at their combined taste on his skin, her green eyes flickingnuo towards his to gauge his reaction.

Kell's golden eyes trained on her as if on a target, watching her every move as she sought to do as he'd challenged. He stood tall and straight, not as easily swayed as other men by a lover so focused on his pleasure alone. His fingers laced slowly, gently into her long red hair, and soon, he finally let his head tilt back as he enjoyed her attention. Their time spent playing before their true mating had led them both to be competent at pleasuring one another, and Kell secretly thanked his past self for having the courage to make the offer to Kate.

Kell’s hand wrapped in her red curls, encouraging her as he tilted his head backwards and she knew he was pleased. As he gently guided her, Kate did her best to pleasure him as she knew he liked. He had taken the time to teach her and she had been a dutiful student. She would do anything in her power to please him if at all possible.

“The idea of getting me with child excites you?” Kate whispered as she pulled her lips free, his shaft rubbing against her lips as she gave him a small grin, her fingers stroking his length to keep him hard and needy.

"The idea of you being fickle and knowing you'll blame me the moment a cub is on the way, makes me want to enjoy this while I can," Kell teased back, looking back down at her. He didn't mean it at all, it was all part of their game.

"I'm not fickle. I'm simply realistic." Kate said diplomatically as she enveloped him again, sighing as his fingers flexed against her scalp.

Kell allowed a soft, low sigh to escape his lips, his hips pressing forward slightly in her grip. His fingers took to trailing through her hair slowly, but soon paused as he was gently coaxed to another climax. It was slow this time, pleasant and not explosive like before, and he let out a quiet groan as his muscles tensed and slowly released.

Lifting Kate to her feet shortly after, Kell nuzzled close against her neck, just taking a moment to hold her in the quiet of the tack room, his fur pressed to her bare skin.

"Fine. You convinced me," he murmured after a long silence.

"Good. It's been too long." Kate murmured softly as Kell held her against himself, his fur warming her as the breeze from outside cut through the slats of the tack room. "Just a day to spend with my husband. A small little respite as we wait for word that Henry is finally on the move."

"I'm at your command, Your Majesty," Kell assured her with a gentle smile. "Anywhere you want to go, or if you just want to hide away."

"I just want to hide." Kate said softly as she leaned her head into his naked chest. "I'm tired of prying eyes."

"I know, love." Kell trailed a hand back through her long hair. "But I'm not making you hide in a saddle shed. Get dressed, and I'll hide us away."

“Where are you going to hide me away? Qira will know where we go.” Kate said as she stood and reached for her clothing, starting to dress as Kell did the same.

"Well, that's handy. Because he's the one person who won't intrude and he'll keep other people from finding us. Unless you want to invite him along, of course," Kell teased with a little smirk. "There's a little cabin in the woods near here, not too far in case of emergency. The owner offered it to us to house officers, but we haven't needed to use it."

“Khelt, it would be an abuse of our power to use that cabin to hide away. I’m not sure that’s what the owner intended it to be used for.” Kate murmured, leveling a look at him as he gave her a little smirk.

"Well then we can always just run off into the woods, but I don't think we'd get much privacy what with our scouts constantly combing the area." Kell sighed, shifting his weight.

Kate buckled the last piece of her clothing back into place before she paused to look up at Kell. He wanted to take her away from her responsibilities for a while and all she was doing was giving him every reason why they couldn't.

"I will follow wherever you go." Kate said with a smile towards her husband, wrapping her arms around his thick neck and pulling him down for a kiss. "I trust you to give me what I want."

"I'm supposed to be the one following you," Kell reminded with a chuckle, before slipping away to unlock the door and peer outside. He felt like making a game of it, slipping away with no one noticing them. Of course anyone who questioned their whereabouts would be assured that they were busy by Kell's people.

"In my footsteps," Kell instructed with a grin to Kate, slipping out the door.

Kate slipped after him, her fingers curling lightly in the back of his belt as he told her to step in his footsteps. She didn't want to let him get away from her only to have another soldier ruin their plans with silly questions.

While Kate had gotten the chance to see how Kell slipped through populated areas unseen before, it had been in Wick at night with few guards or people around. This time, she got to see him smoothly slip past daytime crowds of citizens and military without a pause in step. Not a single person knew the Queen of Scotland walked right by. It wasn't so much that Kell remained entirely unseen, he also knew when to blend in. Being such high-profile people, Kell knew that if he fell in step behind military for a moment, citizens wouldn't approach. He specifically avoided officers who might want to report, and in order to hide from those who came too near, he'd occasionally pull Kate toward a crowded vendor stand. Kell would place himself between Kate and the officer's line of sight, his dark uniformed figure appearing as simply one of his men whom the officers normally didn't approach. And once the coast was clear, they'd slip away again before anyone realized who they were.

As they left the town and entered the thick woods, Kell's step slowed and grew more casual, though his eyes and ears were still alert to anyone around. They weaved their way between trees, dodging the occasional scout or patrol, til they drew near a large stream. He paused there, considering their surroundings for a long moment. "That cabin is still on offer. Or we can go upstream a ways, where it comes down a cliff."

"Since you seem to really want to steal me away to this cabin, let's go there." Kate murmured, slipping her arm around her husband's waist and holding him tightly. "I'm sure you have your own motives for wanting to do so and who am I to tell you no?"

"Well, you're my wife, for starters." Kell laid his head against hers briefly before setting them to walking again, more slowly and casually now. He was still alert, occasionally glancing around them. So far outside Paxton, there would be few scouts about and the only one who would've trailed Kate and Kell was Qira. But the Panther knew why they were retreating, and let them be.

"The only title that means something to me. Well, besides being a Ghis." Kate said with a grin up towards her handsome wolf. "I'd be just as happy keeping home for you as I am now. You know that, right?"

"And I'd do the same for you, but I don't think either of us should be resigned to a life like that. We have so much we can do and give together, even if it's difficult to find our feet. And for me, it's entirely for selfish reasons, at least when it comes to you. I want the name Katherine Ghis and House Aleister to be remembered in common knowledge a century, five centuries, even a millennium from now. Everyone should know you were here."

Kate paused in their walk and looked up at him with a strange expression on her face. "Kell, I'm not that important in the scheme of things. There are others that deserve to be far longer remembered than me."

She knew he said things like that partly because he loved her, but she also knew that he wholeheartedly believed in what he said as well. He wasn't as ridged as people might have thought that a lord protector would be, but he still had his own beliefs that he would fight for.

"How can you love a stubborn creature like me as much as you do?" Kate asked him in all seriousness, still wondering what was wrong with her husband for him to put as much trust and love into her as he did.

"You're more important than you'll ever know. And not just to me." Kell turned and pressed his forehead to hers. "You're so much more than you can see. And you would be amazing to me even if I wasn't your husband or mate." He opened his eyes and smiled gently. "You represent a lot of things to a lot of people where you are now. Don't downplay yourself, love."
