Genetics, or Not?

Ok....this isnt about Homosexuals, Overweight people, or where anyone gets their software, so I should be safe.

I've noticed a strange trend.

I have three teenaged stepsons.....all with huge feet and very large hands and long fingers. My eleven year old wears a size ten shoe.

All of their freinds have the same deal. 12-15 year olds with size 10 or 12 feet and long fingers.

( I know what you ladies are going to say....relax)

We went bowling when in Georgia....and there it is again....a kid went with us, and he was 13 with and needed a size 13 and a half bowling shoe.

Have any of you noticed this in teenagaers?

Young girls with oversized breasts also?

Neither my wife or her ex has any of these traits... ( The milkman doesnt either)

Is this genetics at work....skipping generations.....or is it what I think....Growth Hormones in the food chain.....I.E. Livestock..beef, milk, etc commonly used to enhance production.

Is this a trickle down effect, or what?

I believe it is......

My kids - all boys - have big feet.

But since hubby wears a men's size 15 shoe, I wasn't real surprised about that.

I wear a ladies' 6 or 7, and the kids' feet outgrew mine by the time the boys were 11.

19 yr old wears a men's 15

I'm not understanding the question. Are you saying that you have small feet? Size 10 to 12 seems pretty normal for a guy, and that's about the right age for the growth spurt in the limbs and appendages.

I had size 9 feet when I was 9. Size 10 when I was 10. Finally stopped at size 11 when I was 14. My brother and father followed a similar trend, stopping at 12 and 13 respectively.

Mischka.....They arent my biological children...I married a girl with three teenaged boys.....I dunno....I have size nine, nine and a halfs....all my buds do....or size tens....its just that all the kids today seem to have big feet big hands and long fingers.....the feet dont fit the body types either.....growth spurts to be sure...I have the reciepts to prove Im buying more shoes than corvettes here.....but its just wierd.

I think its because they are fast food babies....Macdonalds, pizza...etc....and they drink a lot of milk.....I know for a fact that the livestock industry uses growth hormones and steroids etc.
