The question reminded me of a classic porn flick named For the Love of Pleasure (1979). Jamie Gillis's character (Simon Black) is a burglar shot during an attempted robbery (there are shenanigans involved). He goes to a pleasant, cloudy place where Shiva (Annette Haven) presents him with every pleasure he can imagine.

Simon imbibes in food, drink and sex until he can't go on. Then Shiva presents him with a high school senior who he has to deflower. He can't, but Shiva induces him to it anyway. Afterward, Simon is exhausted and tells her "I don't belong in heaven."

Shiva replies, "Simon, whoever said this was heaven?"

To be fair, Slannesh is God of excess in all forms, not just drunken lechery. Also, wiped out 99.99% of an entire species when he/she/it was born... which was fun.

Really need to find time to go see DP2 soon, as well. That, or post more stories.

That story was also a Twilight Zone. A gambler dies, and goes to a casino where he always wins. When he complains that it's all too easy in Heaven, his guide asks "What makes you think this is Heaven?" The gambler might have been Jack Klugman.

Is that a Geek full-circle?

Agreed with Loqui; first time authors can take a little longer ordinarily. I hope you put "Geek Pride" in both the Note Field (for admin) and as a tag? That will help the admin prioritize.

But don't worry, since you've given me the heads up this was your intent, I can look for you to at to the final list of links, whenever it posts.

Sink me for a deuced fool, of course I can list the title, and I daresay I should have listed it earlier. You must think me an absolute boor.

The story is entitled “One More Time”, and the description reads, “A noble necromancer, a courtesan, a lost love...”

I fear the necromancer is noble in title and bearing only...

(And yes, this is my first story here, and I did give it the Geek Pride tag as well as putting that in the Notes field.)
