Someone gifted me a 1-month pass to Stadia.

What games do you like? What games do you play? What games would you recommend?

If a Stadia sub, how do you like the service?

TIA.

I just looked at their free games, download Control and play that. It was really good with a weird story.

Because stadia is a method of surveying to accurately produce maps of small plots of land. Been there, done that.

Me too, though not very accurately and only until the contents of my bladder have been emptied.

I have Stadia. I dont play it much, but its worked fine so far. Although, its hard to play a Hitman game on a tiny phone screen.

I think I've logged in 3 times in 2 months.

Also haven't logged into Arma 3 despite paying for it 6 months ago.

EDIT: I JUST read that you mentioned this was about the Stadia, sorry, my bad!!

I recommend Rimworld. "Story generator" and sci-fantasy colony management game. If you like being organized, building advanced prosthetics and designing a settlement, committing obscene war crimes, and watching your little pawns fall in love and get into stupid fights with each other as you desperately try to keep them from tearing your colony apart... Then Rimworld just might be for you! The roleplay aspect for me is charming. The game also has a very active modding community, and since it is available on Steam, it is easy to figure out. Just "subscribe" to the mod from Steam Labs and you got it. People online also explain the more complicated aspects of inner Rimworld mechanics very well.

Here is my former slave who rebelled then was imprisoned... then recruited as a proper member of our colony and made our leader, since I liked her gusto! Everyone seems to like her just fine, but she hates absolutely everyone else in the colony. I think this is a recipe for drama if not disaster. I have her sleep in the brewery since that's her top priority. I'm sure it's fine.

(And... if you want it, there's a robust 18+ mod. Rimjobworld. No, I don't have it. I can't be assed to fuck around with that in my existing games! Really messes things up!! I hear it's a burden when raids happen.)

Ja, Stadia.

In effect, I'm not a gamer......I just like paying $10/month for the service that I have yet to use in the hopes that I'll be granted more hours in the day in which to game.

lol

I play some games

Not sure about Stadia as I do most PC and Xbox most of the time. But I love Destiny2 which again I am unsure if it is supported but we're about to go into a new season with it in January.

Games that are just fun? Overwatch is a good time usually.

Games that are open world and involve amazing story? Can't beat Red Dead Redemption 2 (A big time personal favorite) and Red Dead Online.

Great character development and fun visuals with puzzles? New Tomb Raider and any Uncharted stuff.

I go through Steam and humble Bundle for my PC based games and have tons of recs there but again it's all about what Stadia has.

Whatever you chose I hope you have good gaming!

Forgot to mention The Last of Us 1,2 as a great game with an ending like RDR2 that will make you weep, or at least it did for me.

When Stadia launched my husband was loking into it, and gave cause their subscribtin model wasn't very good. That might have changed now. I'd say look if they have any markdown, or even free games. They biggest problem was server performace at that time

Save your money, if you haven't already spent it.
Google has all your information, in any case.

So, Stadia is being shut down in January 2023. By my estimation, I spent $143.00 in subscription fees and about 2 hours playing various games.

Yay.
