Furries' First Appearance

Jeremy raised an eyebrow, turning to Champagne. He thought carefully. What work could a fox do on a ranch. Then he realized there was the vineyard. "How good are you with machines? We use mechanical presses for making wine. You don't even have to get near the berries at all. You just have to operate the machine from a computerized control panel." He smiled, then turned his attention to the male. "Well, it is normally true that most people would be freaked out, my workers have already met one of your kind. Her name is Coral, and she's resting upstairs. Some dumbass hunter shot her."

"I'm not sleeping anymore. You were too noisy for me to do... ngh... that." Coral said, leaning against the doorway. She had fresh bandages on her arm, a white t-shirt on top and pair of white sweats on her legs.

"Well, I don't have too much experience with heavy machinery, but if it's just done by a program I'm sure I can manage." She said with a sigh of relief, that was good she knew that she would be unable to do anything that required too much physical strain. Looking over at Varga she couldn't help getting a jab in, "I imagine Varga would make for an excellent work horse, wouldn't you agree?" She asked giving Yumi a wink and Varga a smartass smile.

Jeremy grinned, seeing Coral standing in the doorway. At the mention of them being too noisy, his grin grew. "Good to see you too. It's been what, three years?" He turned his attention to Champagne, then reached out and squeezed her hand. "I'd make other arrangements with you and the other girls, but I wouldn't want to make any of you feel like whores."

She thought about what they were discussing and sighed. She had classes to go to next week. She'd miss all of them, but she figured she might as well just make the best of it. The one called varga seemed to be a rather skilled talker and bargainer. The human seemed nice but unwilling to accept change. She soon got bored and wandered back upstairs..

"If you will excuse me gentleman.. I will be upstairs.."

She wandered around in search of the clothing that Jeremy spoke of...

Coral was standing in the doorway, and she looked at Jeremy first, but she quickly caught the site of other adult creatures, that weren't human.

"If you will excuse me gentleman.. I will be upstairs.." said the dark furred creature. She brushed past Coral, who looked a bit confused.

"Um, was it something I said?" Coral asked,

She continued to rummage through a closet and finally she found a spagetti strap top and some shorts. She ran back to her room and changed into them.
A few moments later she stepped down the stairs nervously.

"Excuse me.. Would it be alright if I borrowed these?"

The clothes were showing a bit more then she usually allowed, but they certainly seemed to suit her.

"Do you think they look alright..?"

Varga took one look at her and nodded in approval. "I think you look great."

He smiled. "Don't change a thing."

Except perhaps wear less clothing, he thought to himself, glancing at Jeremy, curious as to his reaction.

Champagne seemed surpised at the appearance of Coral, but quickly got over it as this explained why Jeremy seemed to be taking to appearance of aliens on his farm so casually. Then came Jeremy's comment about the alternate 'arrangements' for the girls, she smiled slyly, "Now before you go making assumptions about what I like and don't, I suggest you ask." The double meaning of the words no doubt made their way around the crowd but Champagne didn't mind. Looking at Yumi's new attire she spoke up, "I hope you realize the attention that outfit will be getting you, then again attention never really is a bad thing, if you know how to use it."

Jeremy grinned at Champagne's suggestive comment. Then he turned his attention to Yumi. "It's fine. In fact, you can keep them, if you want. Judging from the condition of your ships, you're going to be here for a while. At least the place will be more lively now." He smiled, then looked Dawn over, smiling, before turning back to Champagne. "So, what did you have in mind?"

"I hope you realize the attention that outfit will be getting you, then again attention never really is a bad thing, if you know how to use it."

she thought for a moment..

"This is a bit more appropriate for this climate.. I mean with my thick fur.. I should wear less coverings.. What kind of attention do you speak of?"

There was a bit of innocence in her eyes. She really didn't know what it was like for males to look at her that way.

At Jeremy's question about what she had in mind a huge grin spread across her face, "Let's just say, creativity is one of my strong suits, I hope endurance is one of yours." She said leaning on the table provocatively, her grin only growing as her eyes stared deeply into his. Her mesmerizing gaze only broke away at Yumi's naive comment the surprize that she felt at the innocence she heard from her causing Champagne to look at her with a look of amusement. "The kind of attention that means something girl. The kind of attention that let's you know that just by being noticed you've made someone's day that much brighter. When we get up tommorrow I'll show how to make the.....Best of your new look." She said her smile more friendly now, but still that sly foxish glint danced behind her eyes.

Jeremy looked into Champagne's eyes, then smiled. He turned in the direction of her gaze when she looked at Yumi. He gave another smile, then leaned back in his chair. "Well, it may be a while before the food is finished."
