Furries' First Appearance

"Hello?" he called in their shared tongue. "My name is Varga, where are you? There you are," he said upon finding her. "Are you injured? Are you all right?"

"Ohh no.. I'm fine.. Just a little shaken that's all.."

She found herself holding onto her own tail like she had when she was scared as a child and soon dropped it. While she didn't know this guy she should certainly act in a polite manner. She curtsied.

"I'm Yumi.. Could you tell me where we've landed? I've never seen a place like this before.."

Sure she wasn't really the upper class type, but she didn't want all those lessons that her mom had insisted upon to go to waste.

"We're in the unknown regions," Varga said. "The locals call this planet 'Earth', and the first local we've met is pretty friendly right now. We should be all right. For now. I don't know when we will be rescued, I'm afraid."

She was so cute when she curtsied. He bowed in response. "You are a very polite young lady, Yumi."

Varga stood upon his tip toes the moment he heard another voice.

How many people were aboard this bloody ship? he thought to himself. His original plan of capturing people and holding them for ransom might be shot to peices if too many people came out of the woodwork. He quietly sighed to himself. Okay, I'll have to think of something else, he thought to himself. Robbing these low tech barbarians might be a good idea. Maybe.

"Varga and Yumi. We're over here," he called, waving a big arm over his head.

Champagne greatfully accepted the translator and placed it in her ear, but it couldn't translate her speech till it had data to go off of. She needed him to talk, but couldn't ask him, so she decided for the physical approach, she jumped forward and gave him a big hug, lightly dragging her soft tongue over his cheek in thanks. Then in her native tongue said "Thank You, Thank you Thank you."

Jeremy smiled, then shook his head. "I'm Jeremy. You're on my property. Can I get the real story from you? That guy was telling me you were a pirate, or assassin, or something of the like. Don't really trust him though, especially not after meeting Coral. Speaking of which, she lives around here."

---

At that moment, the cook in Jeremy's house wanded downstairs to get some cheese for that night's dinner. She saw Coral laying there bleeding badly, and shrieked. She rushed upstairs, and shouted for one of the staff that helped run the place. The big, burly man came downstairs, saw the girl on the ground, and picked her up gently, taking her upstairs to one of the bedrooms. They quickly dressed her wounds, then let her lay back down.

It took a moment for the Translator to adjust and figure out the speech patterns of this language but after a moment Champagne spoke up. "Thank you very much. Well I must admit, some may consider what I do very 'Mercenary' I've separated many men from their wealth....However I assure you, I 'Earned' every bit of it. As for our large friend," She paused remembering her own sound advice that it would be best if they helped each other for now. "I know that he too works on the fine line of the law but he is more 'Businessman' than dangerous."

"I must admit I don't quite recongnize the name Coral, but as I said with any luck we can all get along together until such time we can find our way home. Yes?" She still had yet to let go of Jeremy, her soft fur and hot body seemed to form to his the longer they stayed pressed together.

Jeremy smiled again, then shivered slightly. Her body was very warm against him, and the cool night air was a little cold. So he thought for a moment, then spoke. "Well, we'd better check for more survivors and then head inside. From the looks of your ships, they are mostly intact, but that doesnt' necessarily mean they can fly. So what's your name?"

Coral woke up, lying down on one of the soft beds of the house. She found that her wounds had been taken care of, and then hazily looked around the room. She felt a pain in her arm, and she held it gently in her hand.

"Ugh..." she said.

The cook came in with some food. When she saw the woman holding her arm, she raised an eyebrow. "Are you okay?"

"Yes, we should make sure to save anymore survivors, and my name is Champagne, Mr. Jeremy, pleased to meet you." She said with a overly friendly smile. Since she knew the way she led him towards the area where the ship had crashed and had arrived just as Varga was helping another couple of survivors out of the wreck. "Honestly, I don't think this thing is flying again without both a skilled ship Tech and a lot of spare parts. But there is a possibility that someone may come looking for what happened to us, but we need to wait until then."

Jeremy nodded, following her. The ship really did look like it was in bad shape up close. It was well built, obviously a deepspacer, but the combined stress of being shot and crashing into the ground had clearly done a number on it. He surveyed the damage, then looked up to see a stunning girl who looked like she was either a coyote or a collie. She had an almost southern accent, which he found slightly odd because they were aliens. He, fortunately, had kept hold of the case of translators, and tossed the two survivors one each.

'Well it seems that there should be more than just me on Varga's mind now, with any luck he might even leave me alone altogether.' She thought to herself as she saw the others climb out. At Jeremy's tossing them the translators Champagne spoke up, "Well I'm not sure to be happy or upset, that's not exactly a high survival rate.....So what do we do now?" She asked the group standing there looking for a reply from someone, anyone....Perhaps she was a little more upset by all of this than she was willing to admit.

Coral shook her head.

"Are you okay?" she heard. A strong man had entered the room, carrying some food for her. She sat in the bed, the covers resting on her lap. She had on a t-shirt, and bandages littered her arms.

"I... I'm fine." she said, glancing around the room.

Jeremy smiled, then bowed. "Might I suggest you stay with me? I own the land for several miles around. My home is that big one over there. I'm Jeremy, for those to whom I haven't introduced myself yet. Welcome to Earth, or as the Ancients referred to it, Terra." With that, he started walking back towards the house. He carried the box of translators with him, and hummed softly as he walked, before noticing that Champagne had fallen into step beside him.

The man smiled, and looked her over. She seemed to be in good condition, though she was a little nervous. That was probably a good sign, he thought. "Master Jeremy was wondering when he'd see you again, Miss Coral. I don't think he'll be too happy to find out you were injured."

Varga nodded to Yumi and Dawn and made his way back over to Jeremy and Champagne, picking his way through the wreckage.

"I see you've made a friend," he said, smiling a little at Champagne, looking between her and Jeremy. "This is Yumi and Dawn," he said, jerking a thumb behind him at the two furries behind him, not worrying whether or not they were following behind. "Have you all found anyone else?"

They were going to need shelter, and food - Varga's own supplies weren't going to last them very long, and who knew what really survived the crash of the StarHound.

"Is there a place we can stay?" he inquired of Jeremy. "I'm sure we can find ways of paying for such a service and more."

Master Jeremy was wondering when he'd see you again, Miss Coral. I don't think he'll be too happy to find out you were injured."

Coral shook a little, her body was still aching from the wounds she had suffered. She fell back down onto the bed, and she dozed off slightly. She woke up a little while later, the room was empty. She sighed as her head rested against the pillow, and she heard noises coming from the house.

Glad to see that some others had made it out of the crash safely, Champagne quickly followed Jeremy after he'd made the offer for them to stay with him. "Earth huh? Well I've never heard of it, or it's older name Terra so I don't think this place has been cataloged in the galactic archives it could be quite some time before anyone finds us here." She said as they walked, for the first time taking a moment to look over the creature next to her. He looked furless, but there was evidence of some natual hair having been removed from his face. They had many of the same evolution patterns she was familiar with other races, natural bipeds, slight muscle builds, and that little tuft of fun on top of their heads. She found herself smileing as she looked at him, 'Definatly exotic, there's just something about this race that I can't help finding so damn cute....I hope their....equipped compatably.' She thought racily, looking down at his crotch to see if she could tell through his clothes.

Jeremy led them into the house, and then looked around. The staff weren't in sight. His father had had a lot of people working here. Jeremy hadn't wanted to fire them, so he kept them on. "Odd. Usually there's a girl at the door to greet guests. Anyways, welcome to my humble abode. I'll have to assign you each a room, and have the cook prepare a feast." Then he caught Champagne staring at him. Or more precisely, staring at his crotch. He raised an eyebrow, then shifted his pants. He wasn't quite ready to be revealing to her or any of the other girls that he found them attractive. Then he waved a hand in front of her face. "Hello? Weenie...Yes? No?"

When she realized that she'd been caught stareing she looked up with a smile, "Sorry there was just something I was...Curious about. Your house is pretty amazing, are you a wealthy person on this planet or is this pretty regular?" She looked around, it was nice, but she'd seen bigger, hell some galactic palaces were almost as big as some cities she'd seen before. So you said something about a room? I'd love to get somewhere and get cleaned up, I'm feeling rather filthy at the moment."

Jeremy raised an eyebrow at her question. "I run a ranch and vineyard. The house is actually Spartan compared to my closest competitors. Anyways, yeah, I'll show you to a room. Each one has its own shower, so you won't have to worry about waiting on the bathroom." He led her upstairs, and after opening several doors, he smiled, and led her into one. "This one should do nicely. It matches your fur, too."

She followed him to the room taking apprecitative note of how his pants hugged his backside, 'No tail maybe but that means I get a clearer view of how it moves and flexes.' She thought, then once they arrived at the room she looked around, she'd seen and stayed in much worse, so considering her circumstances this was far better than she'd been hoping for. Then at the comment about her fur, "Thanks for taking notice, I was afraid you might find my furry body odd, but already you know how to compliment a girl. Thank you. Now if I may, I need my 'shower' you called it?" She said pulling at her clothes and giving him a wink, "Wanna watch?"

Jeremy blinked, then shook his head. "Maybe later. I have to show the others to their rooms." He stepped out the door, then adjusted his pants again. The very idea of watching her shower had gotten him hard as a rock. He'd have to do something about that later. He sighed, then showed the others to their rooms, stopping just long enough to find out that Coral was in one of the rooms. After showing each of the girls to a room, then opening a door to a room for the guy, he went to check on Coral. Finding her asleep, he shook his head, then smiled. He went in and gave her a kiss on the forehead, then went back out to get a towel for Champagne. He grabbed the fluffiest towel he had, and knocked on her door. Getting no response, he opened the door and stepped inside, noticing the bathroom door open and the sound of the shower running. He took a deep breath, then slowly walked into the bathroom, and knocked on the door. "Got you a towel."

She watched as he retreated cutely, "Heehee, oh he's gonna be a fun one to play with." She said to herself as she made her way into the bathroom looking around she decided that this place was fairly low tech, but she could tell pretty much what did what. Going to the sink she stripped off her dress turned on the faucet and splashed her face with cold water, it was really refreshing real water she'd only had recycled ship water for...too long she decided. Climbing into the shower she turned it on adjusting the temperature to comfortable, letting the dirt, grime, stress and worry drain off of her, picking up a bottle of shampoo she read the lable, 'Not tested on Animals' next to the drawing of a small rabbit creature, "Then how do I know if this is going to irritate my fur or not?" She realized she wasn't one of planets animals but didn't understand why this was a good thing.

Rubbing it into her fur she was pleasantly surprised to find it just as refreshing as the clean water. Then just as she was rinsing off she heard Jeremy come in offering her a towel. Deciding to have a little fun she turned off the faucet and pulled back the curtain, standing there naked she held out her hand. "Oh thank you! Your so sweet!" stepping out of the shower she held out her hand for the towel.
