Fuck the NFL....this THING will be Half Time Show

NFL has gotten way too political. They're too ignorant to realize they're alienating millions of fans. I won't watch the half time antics.

Having a Puerto Rican American perform at the Superbowl is wAy ToO pOlitICaL. 😆

No worries — Fox News is going to have an “alternative half time show” of Crooked Donnie dancing to YMCA. You’ll love it.

There’s nothing political about the selection of the performer at the halftime show. Selecting a halftime act that appeals to a demographic the league is trying to expand is simply good business.

Feel free to watch it. Rap away.

His political message is one of anti-ICE and anti Trump.

Not concerned about anyone being anti Trump but bringing attention against ICE for doing their job, I'll pass.

There is a political undertone to this selection. There are much better venues out there.

Also, NFL has been playing a game or two each season in Mexico and Brazil for some time in an effort to expand its reach.

Waste of time and money. It's cheap to buy a soccer ball and make a goal. Gearing up for football on the other hand... You have to start them young. Latino schools in SA don't have the money.

I honestly never heard of bad bunny until I saw posts about his selection by the nfl on this board. He might be extremely political, and his politics might be highly offensive to some people. But I seriously doubt the NFL selected him because of his political views. They selected him because they believe it will help expand their audience.

The owners are all billionaires. They like making money.

I didn't say they selected him for his political views but I'm sure they know that his political views on ICE are very well known and toxic. There are better venues that would result in a great return on investment.

I can name other political issues with the NFL, such as kneeling during the National anthem veiled in free speech rights which was incorrect and very divisive, promoting BLM allowing Black lives matter logos on player helmets, pride month, end zone political messages and others.

I'm not watching it period.

Have at it but I'm not interested.

I usually watch the Super Bowl but my interest level is heavily dependent on which teams are playing.

You can lay that directly at the loathsome feet of Roger Goodell. He’s never seen a virtue signal he couldn’t get behind, even if it alienates half his audience. Meanwhile he’s gouging season tix holders and letting the product on the field suffer. Just look at the blown calls in last nights game.

Don’t even get me started on the three refs “demoted” for blatant favorable calls for a certain team…

DISPATCHES FROM ABC NEWS: The View Promotes Latino Face Painting at Super Bowl.

This week, “The View” discussed Bad Bunny’s upcoming appearance at the 2026 Super Bowl. The conversation turned to illegal immigration on two fronts. The far-Left singer is an avowed ICE hater, having announced he wouldn’t tour the U.S. as long as ICE was still arresting illegal immigrants stateside.
Performing at the Super Bowl? That’s another story, apparently.
Plus, Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem says ICE officials will be at the annual event.
That set off co-host Whoopi Goldberg, who served up a curious way to respond to the lawful group’s efforts to enforce immigration laws.
Goldberg’s solution served as a painful reminder of the nation’s blackface past, a dehumanizing practice that has long since been abandoned. Even comical uses of the practice have been memory-holed in recent years.
“Here is the thing, everybody, get a little cocoa butter, sit in the sun, that’s the first thing. And then — and this is the only time you can probably ever do this, give yourself a Latin accent.”

They definitely have to do something with pass interference calls.

Here’s my prediction.

Football will be relegated to second tier sports status in 50-75 yrs. Maybe sooner, maybe a tad later, but it will happen.

Fewer youth are watching. The average viewership is only now catching back up to pre-‘16 levels. Add revenue is going up, season tix are going up, the stadiums are getting bigger, but the seating capacity is roughly the same.

Think about how far Horse racing and boxing have fallen off from their 50’s era levels. Football will have the same fate.

Insightful. I can’t wait until 50-75 years from now to see you brag on your predictions.
