My characters are much different than the normal characters encountered in so-called "erotica": they have depth and actual feelings!

They don't. That's the problem.

All I read was a lot of In Yer Face Attitude. Character depth that ain't.

They're also fairly identical to just about every other punk/goth/emo/insert appropriate counter-cultural fad of the moment character, which also makes them just as tedious as the goody-goody types you railed against.
