From Hell

My last one wuz Mulholland Dr.

In fact I'm listening to Julie Cruise right now...AGAIN

I love Johnny Depp, Tim Burton, Stanley Kubrick, Brittany Murphy and a splash of John Cusack

Good movie. The comic book it's based on was much better, but the adaptation did come out better then I thought it would. Am interested to hear what Alan Moore thought of the flick. He's often come off to me as a person who's hard to satisfy when another trys to adapt his work on the screen. Of course, I'm sure most here have little idea what I'm talking about. And that's the idea.

Al Moore

What has he written? What do you recommend?

Unregistered Demian

So did he diddle you in the theater? Did you get Good-N-Plenty? Did you play with his Mr. Goodbar? If not, I have to give your date a thumbs down.

Not real familiar with the background of the storyline, but I do know it's based on a comic book since I have several of the issues and the Paperback copy. Here's where you can read up a little on some of his work at Amazon. Sorry, but it's the only link I have right now for checking into his stuff online.

If Ebert says to Roeper during screenings when CB said to B, then I don't want to know about it. *shudder* Not a good visual.

Now CB, on the other hand, reminds me of Alanis Morrisette's You Oughta Know--"...is she perverted like me, would she go down on you in a theater..."

I was going to let Gene Siskel rest in peace. Now that I think about it, no Leonard Maltin or Gene Shalit whispering to each other either. *ugh*

Not Bruce Manning, that made-up movie reviewer who loved Big Daddy either. He had to be made up; I can't think of a critic who liked this sad-ass film.
