We actually have frogs, not toads - from our neighbour's pond. The cat brought one in the other night to use to train the kitten hunting skills. What a good mother. (Eurrrgh! Yuck! Yuck!)

Here is Piglet's Toad-in-the-Hole! It looks a little burnt but that's my photo not the dish. It was very tasty!

I like all the caravans! I was just listening to Avishai Cohen's when I realised the boiler was having a sulk. I'll have to teach it to sulk properly. It's no good to do these things quietly and hope someone will notice - it took me an hour to realise there was a problem. A proper hissy fit requires hissing and heavy sighs and mutters of 'if someone would buy me another pair of diamond earrings it would all be all right'

(Acksherly I am a bit stuck for earrings since I lost my pearl one in the Crown Jewels and now my diamond one somewhere at home and the diamond ones had the butterflies on them which belong to the turquoise ones so I can't even wear those if I happen to be wearing blue.)

Oh and a proper story.

I think it was when Tony Blair and family were holidaying in Silvio Berlusconi's Tuscan villa that one newspaper had the bright idea of phoning round to find where different political leaders were spending their summer. Most of them were on yachts and in villas, apart from Rhodri Morgan - socialist First Minister of the Welsh Assembly Government (as it was called then), who couldn't be reached on the phone because the mobile signal at his caravan in West Wales was very poor .
