The live rat's on the menu?![]()
No it was an early experiment in table clearance [for scraps].
The rats were more efficient than the dogs round the table.

Oh, School's Out, then ?

I think that has become the end-of-the-year anthem for teachers even more so than for students.
.
Perfectly understandable.
I always did like that record.
I think that has become the end-of-the-year anthem for teachers even more so than for students.

Maybe, but it's not true in the teachers' case, as it implies the year/teaching ever starts/started.
Those who can, do; those who can't, teach. And those who can't teach become managers.
I've heard that each/all some place before, I think. Regardless, it isn't true, as my so-called "education" proves many who can't/shouldn't teach do so anyway.
I don't really agree with the first: teaching is something one does, not a task for some one who has no real skills. Unfortunately, there are those who occupy teaching positions without the ability to actually teach.
But there are doctors, lawyers... who are equally incapable of doing their jobs.
And, as I can say from experience, there also are many students who appear utterly incapable of doing their job.
Some students work at stores, eateries, etc. while going to school. But being a student is not a job.
Who didn't do their job & teach you not to post contradictory sentences back-to-back?
No contradictions in what I said,
Preaching to the choir.
No. Pointing out that the accusation is adaged against teachers only.

I worked at least one if not two jobs every single year of high school and through getting three college degrees and trust me...being a student was always the FIRST and MOST important job.
.
I don't know (or frankly care) how many jobs you worked while being a student. I only know that being a student was & is not a job.
