his commitment to the "thin slice of voting supporters" that will give him the edge
in the coming election- White Supremacists that are feeling "oppressed" by Black
Lives Matter marches. The marches that are making the country know how minority
communities feel about the murder of George Floyd at the hands of police officers,
and the lack of justice, equality, and fair treatment in the system.

Tucker Carlson said in that commentary, “This may be a lot of things, this moment we are
living through, but it is definitely not about black lives."

He continued to tell viewers about the mob that’s trying to “cancel your rights”

Carlson said that the U.S.’ defenses have been “badly weakened by decades of relentless
propaganda” which he said was designed to “make us feel that we have no right to stand up
or ourselves, to stand up for our country, we are too sinful to resist, that we deserve
whatever we get, shut up and take it, America.”

The “very latest” example of this he showed was Sesame Street.

More specifically, the CNN Sesame Street town hall on racism for kids that aired
a few days ago. Here’s part of what it showed Elmo and his dad talking about:

"I’m bringing this sign to the protest at the community center later."

ELMO: "Oh, well, they look upset. Are the protesters sad?"

After showing that above clip, Carlson said, “It’s a children’s show. Got that, Bobby?"
"America is a very bad place and it’s your fault, so no matter what happens, no matter
what they do to you when you grow up, you have no right to complain. That’s the message
and it starts very young."

Fox News removes altered photos of Seattle protest zone

Fox News has removed digitally altered photos from its website after the Seattle Times
noted misleading images used in the network’s coverage about a Seattle neighborhood
that’s become a protest center against police brutality and racial injustice.

The Seattle Times reports Fox News’ website featured at least two photos on Friday
that inserted an image of a man standing with a military-style rifle, and that there
were no disclaimers on how they were manipulated when featured on the network’s
website for most of the day Friday.

The Seattle Times said Fox’s website used that gunman image for the network’s coverage
of the protest zone, but the image was included in a mashup of other photos from May 30
that depicted smashed windows in downtown Seattle — before the protest zone was set up
and in a different neighborhood.

Fox News spokeswoman acknowledged the issue in a statement that falsely claimed
all photos were from the same week and the same location.

The gunman image was also inserted into a different June 10 Getty Images photo showing
a sign from the protest zone that reads: “YOU ARE NOW ENTERING FREE CAP HILL.”

The gunman and sign photos were taken by Seattle freelance photographer David Ryder
who then distributed the photo through Getty Images.

“It is definitely Photoshopped,” Ryder told the Seattle Times.
“To use a photo out of context in a journalistic setting like that seems unethical.”

The Seattle Times also reported that Fox’s package of stories on Seattle’s protest zone
included a May 30 photo taken by an Associated Press photographer depicting a burning
building and car that was in St. Paul, Minnesota. Fox has also since removed that image.

However, while organizers confirmed there are some armed guards at the CHAZ entrances
the weapons are not visible.


“It’s not our intent to try to create any paradox to try to incite violence or have that be
a motif,” said demonstrator Maurice Cola. “We’re not trying to use our guns to flash
around — it’s for defense.”

Cola said that people are welcome to come and go freely, without being stopped;
the guns are only to guard against violent white supremacist groups.

“There’s local groups of white supremacists who facilitated in trying to give us threats
by marching up with their own weaponry, so we are utilizing our rights and bearing arms,
” Cola said. “There are a few people who are monitoring the gate just for our safety, as
we already had an active shooter on site.”

That was in reference to Sunday night, when an armed man drove through the crowd
and allegedly shot a protester in the arm.

KIRO Radio reporter Nicole Jennings walked in, out of, and through the CHAZ
several times on Thursday, and was never stopped or asked for ID.

The suspect, who was later arrested by police, was seen in the video exiting his car
as protesters began to surround it. He brandished what appeared to be a gun, dashed
through the crowd and turned himself over to police.

The injured protester, named as Daniel, 26, was taken to hospital and is in stable condition.
He said he had punched the man in the car in an attempt to disarm him after he drove into

It was the perfect pro-Trump story in a time of controversy over veterans.

On 8 October, Fox News published a video about John Garofalo, a multi-decorated Navy
SEAL who had personally carved a ginormous — 4 foot, 150 pound — glass seal he
wanted to give to President Donald Trump.

The story is fake, as Garofalo himself admitted to NavyTimes.

It turns out the guy never served in Vietnam, was never a SEAL and didn't receive a Purple Heart:

“It (the story) got bigger and bigger," he said.

“What I did I‘m ashamed of, and I didn’t mean to cause so much disgrace to the SEALs.”

Fox News was forced to run a correction last night:

Unfortunately, all of Garofalo's claims turned out to be untrue. The fact is that he did
not serve in Vietnam. He was never a U.S. Navy SEAL. Even though he showed us
medals, Garofalo was not awarded two Purple Hearts or any of the other nearly two
dozen commendations he claimed to have received, except for the National Defense
Service Medal.

So what's true in Garofalo's story? The 72-year-old served in the Navy from 1963 to 1967
as an aviation boatswain's mate, and was deployed for a while in Rota, Spain. He is also
a talented glass artist who gifted two presidential seals to President Ronald Reagan and
George H. W. Bush.

that he pre-tape the segment and strike a conciliatory tone, Carlson barely sounded
apologetic, knowing he had the full backing of the Murdoch heir.

A rep for Murdoch did not respond to a request for comment. But The Daily Beast spoke
to more than a dozen Fox News insiders, who all suggested that behind the scenes there
is a growing despair among employees about the network’s role in demonizing and
spreading fear about Black Americans in particular.
