Formatting Question / Photo Question

Currently working on a story that contains some exchange of text messages between characters. However, when I try to duplicate some of those annoying smiley/frowning faces [example ], "Word" automatically converts them to little round faces not unlike the icons you can attach to your message.

So...my question is, will the story post with those icon type faces, or is there some special formatting required?

Also, can someone point me to rules regarding photos posted to profiles? What are the guidelines, and how graphic is one allowed to get?

You can click on the little blue line that underlines the change from to the smiley in Word and undo it. I don't think your story will post correctly if you have smiley faces in it.

Still confused about the little faces though. Mine don't automatically show up with the blue underline. Was able to get it to come up one time (accidentally) by right-clicking around but have yet to be able to repeat it.

When I double click on the face, I get a "symbol" window that opens. Is this what I'm looking for. What do I do then? Thanks in advance.

Glad to help.

The blue underline appears if you hover the mouse on the smiley face.

Try doing 'undo' -- you can access it by clicking on Edit in and then Undo, or the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl+Z.
