On the very day of the negotiations, the Russian side has already demonstrated manipulative attempts to twist the agreements reached in Saudi Arabia. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelensky in an evening video address to the nation on Tuesday, March 25, Ukrinform reports.

They are already trying to twist the agreements and actually deceive both our mediators and the whole world. There are absolutely clear statements published by the White House. Ukrainian Armor Supplies Over 50 MP-120 Mortars to Military​

These are the mortars for big boys. Ukrainian Armor has manufactured and handed over a large batch of 120-mm MP-120 mortars to the Ukrainian army. “Despite the air and missile attacks, Ukrainian Armor continues to produce mortars of all calibers and has significantly increased its production capacity,” the company stated. In addition to 120-mm mortars, the company also produces 60-mm and 82-mm mortars. In September 2024, Militarnyi reported that the company’s mortar production capacity was operated at 100% capacity by the end of 2024. At the same time, it became known that production had already been contracted for 50-70% for 2025. The company’s CEO noted that the workload percentages are very conditional and do not reflect the real production potential. In other words, with funding, they can produce way more.

This is actually quite important - Ukrainian Brigades have had an ongoing shortage of mortars, and the 120mm's are great for support against infantry attacks, as well as packing a real punch and beig way cheaper to build and operate than SPG's. They're also usually attached to Battalions, giving every battalion their own organic "artillery" support. My head is overloaded with all this - my husband commanded a mortar platoon in the weapons company of a USMC battalion for a while, as well as a Rifle company and the weapons company later on, so I just got a brain dump as well as a coffeeo . LOL. My head is exploding. Anyhow.....semper fi and all that...so a big bunch of these being delivered and more production scheduled over 2025 is a big deal - more and more self sufficiency for Ukraine with their own weapons production. They make the ammo for these too....Ukraine s firmly on the road to peace through superior firepower....

The MP-120 range is 480 m – 7100 m; the shooting mode is 15 rounds per minute. Having analyzed the previous operation background of 120 mm mortars in the army, the Ukrainian Armor team developed and introduced several crucial alterations which allow MP-120 to surpass analogous European weapons technically and operationally. The major innovations are:

1. The improved base shape allows 360 degrees firing with no need for mortar repositioning; it takes 2 – 3 minutes to prepare firing position;
2. Minimized horizontal looseness substantially improves operational accuracy and facilitates gunner activities;
3. Construction know-how of the safety lock mechanism safe keeps artillery crews from double loading events;
4. The innovative barrel manufacturing technology using top -quality steel increases durability and safety quotient.

“Mortar is a high-tech product. In cases of intense operation, barrels wear rapidly. During governmental trials, MP-120 fired 5.5 thousand rounds, i.e., the entire service life of the barrel. Remarkably, the barrel wear hit 0.2 mm, which is 50% under the current performance benchmark. It means that our mortar can service twice as long as the analogs and fire advanced rounds of enhanced warfare and flight range,” – noted Vladislav Belbas, Director General at Ukrainian Armor. Based on the Decree of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, the Ukrainian defense and security forces has now commence rhythmic procurement of MP-120, reliable mortar made in Ukraine. Back in 2023, “Ukrainian Armor” has established the production of 120mm mortar rounds together with two NATO member states. “The Defense Forces of Ukraine are already receiving thousands of new mortar rounds,” representatives of the enterprise said (in 2023). International cooperation and the production facilities’ dispersion helped the company increase monthly volumes of supplies of this ammunition.

MP-120 comes as a standard weapon for a 120 mm MRAP Kamrat-L-based self-propelled mortar complex (cipher code Smereka) developed under the order of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. The Kamrat-M, a variant of the Kamrat APC, is based on Ukrainian Armors Novator wheeled armoured combat vehicle. The rear configuration allows to carry an automated mobile mortar system stowed on the back platform and lowed hydraulically to the ground behind the vehicle, on its base plate for firing. 120 mm caliber, with 40 rounds in racks on the rear compartment.

Recently, it became known that Ukrainian Armor will produce one and a half times more Novator armored vehicles than last year. However, this number may increase even more by the end of the year. This year’s state order for armored vehicles from Ukrainian Armor was supposed to reach at least 300 units by the end of the year.

"[Putin] will die soon, and that's a fact, and it will come to an end," Zelenskyy said, adding that death is "what he is afraid of." It was reported last week that Putin, 72, suffered a "mini stroke" after shaking uncontrollably at a conference, The Standard reported. There have also been unverified claims that Putin is suffering from cancer and Parkinson's disease. "There's been rumors of Putin being unwell since the mid 2000s, if not earlier," Dr. Stephen Hall, a Russian political analyst told The Sun. "There are lots of possible theories as to what's been going on in terms of how the Kremlin hides it."

The Sun reported that Putin is on "heavy steroids and innovative pain-killing injections" to blunt the spread of pancreatic cancer. "It not only causes a lot of pain, Putin has a state of puffiness of the face and other side effects — including memory lapses," The Sun reported, citing another Russian intelligence source.

The reality is that speculation and misinformation surrounding Mr Putin’s health is not new. For the best part of two decades now, there have been rumours circulating about his health and capacity to run Russia. Speaking to reporters after a meeting with Emmanuel Macron on Wednesday, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky said Mr Putin’s reign would eventually “come to an end”. Ukraine’s slow invasion: Soldiers slip into Russia’s Belgorod Oblast quietly​

Ukrainian troops quietly infiltrate Russia’s Belgorod region, executing a low-profile offensive that catches Russian defenses off-guard and signals a new strategic approach. Following the withdrawal from most of the Sudzhansky district in Russia’s Kursk Oblast, which Ukrainian forces had held since August 2024, Ukraine initiated a surprise offensive into Russia’s Belgorod Oblast. This operation aims to preemptively counter Russian troop concentrations along Ukraine’s Sumy border and prevent potential new fronts. It also takes the fighting into Russia, where it belongs, rather than inside Ukraine.

In western Russia, near the fortified border with Ukraine, the roar of tanks and infantry fighting vehicles could be heard as they moved through minefields and dragon’s teeth barricades, marking a new phase in the fighting.
