After one of the tensest three way exchanges (Zelenskyy, Trump, Vance) in recent history, "reporter" Brian Glenn asked President Zelenskyy "Why are you not wearing a suit?"
You really have to watch the exchange. The level of disrespect towards a foreign leader is extraordinary.
Zelensky replied "Maybe i wear costume when war is over. Maybe better costume than yours...'
This passes for 'Journalism" in the Golden Age of America.
Glenn is notorious for his lack of judgement. He had an affair with then-married Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and now lives in sin with her.

Well, we sit here in Europe and wonder where politeness, decency and understanding disappeared.
I know that the ordinary American hasn't experienced war and all that follows for the people, government and President. But to say the things they did during this press conference infront of the whole world is just plain stupid. If they are after likes on facebook they missed the target with miles!
And if they were after the driver seat and want people to show respect to them, they missed even more.....

The reporter wasted his chance to ask a more substantive question and Zelinski’s choice to show up at the Oval Office dressed like he was making a pitch to VCs in Silicon Valley demonstrated his cluelessness about statecraft.
It wouldn’t have mattered if he’d succeeded in making a deal though. But he didn’t. What matters next is up to Europe.

He didn’t leave with nothing because of his attire. He got nothing because he had very little leverage in the negotiations. This was the most important negotiation of his life. Dressing appropriately would have been an easy but meaningful gesture of respect and situational awareness.

Absolutely 100% agree. Trump and Vance fucked this up big time and have between them made any agreement signed with the US pretty much worthless. That was totally juvenile from the two of them. Fuck them both. Sideways. Good on Zelensky for not rolling over.

Denmark Signs Deal with Nammo to Produce Shells
Denmark has signed a contract with the Norwegian-Finnish defense company Nammo for shell production. The Hartpunkt newspaper reported that the shells will be produced at a plant in Northern Jutland. The Danish Ministry of Defense has announced that it will buy back the former Ammunitionsarsenalet ammunition plant, locally known as Krudten (Powder Plant) in Northern Jutland. Denmark sold the 17th-century AMA plant in 2008 for €2.41 million to Spanish ammunition manufacturer Expal. The plant continued to produce weapons and provide services to the country’s Ministry of Defense as one of its main customers. This lasted until 2020, when, after several years of losses, EXPAL decided to shut down the facility and liquidate it entirely.Denmark bought the plant back in 2023. A tendering process for a company to set up manufactiuring and prouce ammo ran thru 2024 and this has now been signed with NAMMO. It will probably take two years to establish ammo production from scratch, meaning this is no fast fix.
