On the off chance that you are not already a member there, or have not checked it out, collarme.com is also a web site which serves as a source for seeking out those who share an interest in BDSM.

i never joined alt.com, as they had already started talking about charging for membership just at about the time i decided to actively begin seeking a D/s relationship. i met my Master as a result of registering at collarme.com (which accepts donations, and is a free site), posting an informative profile, and browsing through the profiles belonging to others.

But .. i know that my Master sent a one time donation to collarme.com (they have a donation option on their home page) ... and as He didn't HAVE to ... i think that's way kewl!!

After we married, i heard it said that the marriage license is His 'bill of sale' ... i actually like to think of it in JUST that way.

alt is a money pit. I have sreenname on that site but I rarely go, since I am not a paying member all I can do is read and post stories and hang out in the chat room. Non paying members can not even view profiles anymore over there.

Honestly, I think Collarme is your best bet. Don't be afraid to try people out of your area.

The only other site i know of is craigslist.com . There's a personal section there. It's free to place ads (you can place a new ad daily), as well as reply to the ads posted by others. The ad listings are 'refreshed' daily and sectioned/listed by date, allow for a photo, and many of the major cities across the USA are covered. As is true with anywhere else, there exist fakes and wierdos ... as well as a few sincere people you may run across.

I don't really like Alt since you have to pay to do anything at all (if you are male). My female friends that use it can do much more without paying, like seeing profiles.

Yeah, I'm on Bondage.com; from what I've seen, it's another "you CAN be a free member, but if you want to actually do stuff, pay us money" site with some interesting characters and a so-so forum. Beem listed at alt for ages. The only contact that ever came to fruition was a one time scene with a younger guy.( still in contact btw)
