For the 40+ (changed from 50) people ..... Is your sex life good?

I am well over 50 much closer to 60 and yet don't feel old. My sex life is lacking, and I feel life and love maybe passing me by.

Not sure how many of us "more mature" people are on lit. But would like to hear if others feel this lacking of love life and fear that the last chance for intimacy and passion maybe quickly passing us by.


So how do you prevent this feeling of losing and make your life fuller and happier now?

how about non-existent?

You say you see life and love passing you by MacCortz, I'm wondering when mine had the funeral.
I don't know how to prevent that "feeling of losing", I'm almost 45 and I'm trying damn hard to make a long lasting acquaintance, but it ain't coming to pass. Those I feel some sort of "connection" with are either 15 states away or on some other continent and I don't think anybody's relocating in a hurry.
I distract myself with what Lit has to offer, there are some really good people on here, a few close friendships have developed, but nothing ending up in a real life scenario, hopefully some nice gent will bump into me at some point.

You're an attractive man, I don't know what you're looking for in a lady, but I do wish you luck and don't despair, maybe this post of yours will kindle some interest, for you and others.

Goofed I think not, your just not settling for less, the discussion is what we want and need and not offered. Age should improve our comunications, but in practice I think we are moved toward isolation.

I have always had an adequate sex life since the age of 17 and hopefully learnt a few lessons along the way, but the last ten years have been the most fulfilling.

This is begaining to sound like a "case" for us men having lovers much younger than we are. Where are the people with good solid sex lives who don't have a partner who is much younger.

And are we suggesting (for a man) the way to a great sex life is to find a partner who is much younger? Or for a woman is an older man better?

Or is there a way to bring back the passion with out having to change the partner your with?

More questions than answers .... where is the wisdom that comes with age?
