For Discussion: BBW's and Fat Attraction

Fat men are also unhealthy. My ex is very overweight; I do worry about his health, for my son's sake.

Yet this thread seems to only focus on women; why is that? Obesity in men and women is a health concern, no doubt.

Again...

...you need to actually pay attention.

There's a picture of an obese guy just posts above yours...

You should really ask yourself why you so easily, naturally and casually assume things that are not true at all.

And why do you feel such a need to continually bring your son's father into your internet discussions?

If you still ache for him so much, let him know...

...he may just take you back.

BTW: good to see you finally work up the courage and come to this overweight thread...

...it could be the first step in addressing your baggage issues.

How overweight are you, Eyer?

Again:

Try reading what people have posted first...

...that way your ignorance won't be so glaring.

aww, hunny it's okay. Diet & exercise will work wonders. I'm training for a 10k, wanna be workout buddies?

Cut out the fried foods and red meat. You'll be amazed how much better you feel!

Going out for a daily 30 minute walk will also help. It's a start! :)

Nothing to be ashamed when one is working toward a road of self-improvement. It will make you feel that you've accomplished so much! That sense of self-worth will do WONDERS for your self esteem.

I'll be proud of you.

Go for it! You have nothing to lose.

Wait a fucking minute here. Are these the men posing as women on the GB?

I am getting all of these scientific threads mixed up.

Oh, I totally forgot that lancey conclusively proved that 90% of all GB posters are middle aged men. LMAO.

He is brilliant beyond words. I stand in amazement at his posts. I've never seen anyone know SO MUCH about so little.

Bless his heart.

Thanks, sugar...

...but you've already posted porky pictures of yourself.

It's like you fantasizing about giving successful marriage advise...

I don't ever give marriage advice, except that it will probably end (statistically speaking)

Porky, cute.

Nice try, bud.

By the way, Eyer, and Lance, when was the last time you ran a 10k? A 5k?

Exercise is really good for your heart. You should train for one. It's intense, not easy! But well worth it. You'll be glad you did.

The sense of accomplishment is awesome.

While I was out running my daily half-marathon, this came in:

Slim Is in As Fat Stigma Goes Global
Wed Mar 30, 4:30 pm ET

The Western world has a new export: fat stigma.
A new study finds that the number of societies without negative views about fat has shrunk in the past few decades. The change comes on the heels of increased global desire for slimness, researchers report in April in the journal Current Anthropology.

"These really negative ideas, these moralizing ideas about what it means to be fat seem to have spread very quickly," study researcher Alexandra Brewis, an anthropologist at the Arizona State University, told LiveScience. "It's this moral judgment that creates prejudice and discrimination."

And you've never trained, let alone run a 10k before but are already boasting...

...after you've actually accomplished it once, get back to us and let us know if it's going take another 100 10k just to get you down to plump.

Good luck, piggly wiggly.

*snicker* I've run 3 5ks this year so far, have you?

You're fat, it's okay! Like I said before, you can turn that around. health is within your grasp!

Anyone can accomplish what I have; all you have to do is work a little.

It's quite amusing how you default to "you're fat!" when you can't face the truth about yourself.

It's okay. No one here is out to judge you. Just work for it! The first step is the hardest. Go for it!

I run 3 miles per day. If I can do it, you can too! It's not insurmountable. Promise!

Okay, I lied a little. I only run 5 days a week. I take the weekends off.

A lot more training and you might actually get near the truth someday...

Back on track to Lance's thread.

Fat admirers? Not me. I don't care for Men who have no ambition. Fat men are not attractive to me, at all. I view it as laziness and lack of caring for their health.

One's health should never be taken for granted!

over-tanning, eating food that is not good for you, a sedentary lifestyle? All signs of not caring enough for one's self to do better. Meat is a huge problem. One should eat more vegetables and whole-grains.

Fat men are not attractive. It shows that they do not care to be a better human being. They are lazy, and self-indulgent. Neither are the ones holding onto those last few hairs that they comb-over. Shave that shit! Embrace the baldness. Bald is hot.

Personally, I believe that one should get out there, be social, exercise, eat healthy, do what one can to improve their life.

Living one's life on a message board and never having a social life is probably worse than being overweight. Speaks volumes of who they are in their head. They can't exist in a real social situation, so they choose to pontificate on the internet. Sad, really.

You could be right...

...but coming from a porky divorcee who loves to not only spend hours on the net but also to sit on her massive hind quarters watching television, while trying to bribe her son into believing she's a good mother by serving him pizza and pop for breakfast, all the while finding her main pleasure as a woman at the lashing end of the crop...

...maybe you simply post for yourself?

It's okay. Start walking, maybe 10 minutes per day to start?

I'll stand by you. You can do it, promise!

If it makes you feel better to point the finger to others, I understand that you have those feelings.

Self-improvement is good! Do it for YOU.
