It's a bit hard to explain. I have a video of me doing it, but it reveals my face, so I won't be posting that.

You create a footlock with the silks on one foot by wrapping it a certain way. Grab high onto that same silk (above your head), swing out, with your unwrapped foot push down the fabric as it wraps around the locked foot each time you flip yourself over until you reach the photographed position (you'll eventually be able to balance the silk and let go of your hands. Then you grab on again and flip yourself out using fan kicks.

I'd youtube "aerial silks half moon" or "aerial silks man in the moon" to get a visual.

Sorry for calling you hon, but I call most women I know hon when I don't know their real name, or they're close friends. So I hope you forgive me.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I think you're B&W's look great. And I'd love to know how you convert your color digital images to B&W. I've tried several different "actions" in Photoshop, but none came out as beautiful as yours.

I REALLY have to add, that I think you're pics are teriffic and sexy. Very nice!

I'll tolerate it. ;) I actually don't use photoshop. Just my little old macbook doing what it does best. Photobooth & iPhoto are the two things that has kept this thread alive. B&W is just one of the effects; color boost, taking color out, etc. are some of the others I use too.

Yeah it's an amazing work out. That's what I was looking for. Yoga was getting stale and not really challenging me. A friend found this and I found another instructor so I can double up during the week. It's a fantastic way to build strength and flexibility. Hell, just climbing up the damn rig is a workout, but you can flip yourself upside down and do crunches that way, split the silks and sort of plank your body in front and just work on your back muscles. It's amazing and adds something interesting to my life. :)
 
Glad to see you pop in, and if I ever tried to do that I would probably break my neck or somehow hurt myself. Respect *fist bump*
