Anyway, re VD... I can understand how you feel. For me, it is just another opportunity to remember, celebrate, and cherish my beloved wife. BTW, we've been married for nearly 9 years, and together for 11.

We're not consumed by the commercial aspects of VD. I'll be cooking her a delicious and healthy dinner, and I may have one small modest present for her... Oh, and our freesias are blooming now (mid feb? Seriously?), so I may have a small bud vase on the table.

It's a bit hard to explain. I have a video of me doing it, but it reveals my face, so I won't be posting that.

You create a footlock with the silks on one foot by wrapping it a certain way. Grab high onto that same silk (above your head), swing out, with your unwrapped foot push down the fabric as it wraps around the locked foot each time you flip yourself over until you reach the photographed position (you'll eventually be able to balance the silk and let go of your hands. Then you grab on again and flip yourself out using fan kicks.

I'd youtube "aerial silks half moon" or "aerial silks man in the moon" to get a visual.
