Fooling around

Incredible photographs, DRL. You have a real knack for photography. Do you sell any of your landscape pictures? I (and I am sure others) would seriously consider buying some of the gorge pictures or that windswept Pacific picture and getting them mounted and framed! Just amazing :) I do hope that you are feeling better and that all is well!

PS...Love the gorge-ous reference ;) It is beautiful there :)

No I don't sell photos or engage in anything remotely professional. I'd need a far better camera & instruction for anything like that. I think I just get lucky with some shots. Plus, like you said, the Gorge is amazing. Despite the weather, it's hard not to take a good pic there.

No need to say sorry at all, dear. Our little pervs will always be here and they can fucking wait until you feel like it, so don't worry about us. After all, if you're heart isn't in it, the magic of it wouldn't be there, would it? For me at any rate, the overriding wonder of your erotic photos is that you enjoy doing them. If you don't enjoy, if you're not feeling the passion, the whole thing falls down like a house of cards. And whilst I'm in the midst of an epistle, let me say it's wonderful to have a glimpse of another facet of you, of other things that make you feel the wonder, of things that make your heart beat faster for a different reason. Waterfalls, forests, mountains, the ocean (always the ocean for me), thunderstorms and lunar eclipses makes one breathe more deeply and experience another kind of bliss. (with apologies to Joseph Campbell)
Thanks for the photos, they're great. Take care.
:rose::rose::rose:

True. I'd probably end up being unhappy with any pics taken at this time. I'm glad you enjoyed the other shots. It's nice to have that other facet appreciated here.

I've been to that waterfall with my wife. We went for Spring break a few years ago. I didn't go to the beach, though, and now regret that we didn't. While we were there, we had unseasonably great weather, which ended on the day we left.

Anyway, that beach pic is amazing, and I honor you for being brave enough to take it.

I bet you have a few more nature pix on your hard drive.... bust em out!

Isn't Multnomah one huge monster? I was pretty hesitant to get on that bridge. I wish I could have taken pics once I finally got to the top, but I was too damn nervous.

Your photo is amazing! *Envious*

Wow Flow. The detail in that picture is amazing. I hope you are feeling better everyday girl. :)

Isn't his pic awesome?

I'm feeling pretty damn good today thanks to feedback here & finding out that I somehow managed to get straight A's this semester. :D

March - for spring break. Yes, yes I know none of that makes sense. March isn't a peak time to visit & that's generally not the direction to go in for spring break, but I had been wanting to hit up the Columbia River Gorge for years & no other time worked out for both me & my friend. So March it was.

I liked it there. Shame the weather didn't cooperate.

How long has it been since you've been there?

I moved to AZ in Oct of 06, so it's been almost 5 years. My son was born in Oregon, and this year in his Geography class, he did a powerpoint presentation on it. Now he wants to move back really badly. He's going up to visit his mom sometime this summer, and I'm afraid he'll stay. lol

The weather in Oregon is what it is. Essentially 2/3 of the year, you have some type of precipitation. You either love it or hate it. They say you can always spot someone who isn't from there, because they're the only one carrying an umbrella. You just get used to it and adapt, and by the end of each summer, you're wishing it would rain again.

Did you go over to The Dalles and watch the windsurfers and kite surfers?

A huge truck-sized rock once fell and injured about 20 people there. Nervous might have been a good thing. http://www.extreme-physique.com/forums/images/smilies/unsure.gif

Where I lived, there was a state park called Silver Falls. It was about a 20 minute drive from my place in town, back into the countryside. I used to go out there all the time, especially in the summer. It was a great place just to get away for the day, take a nice hike, and pack a lunch to eat alongside the trail. The falls aren't as huge as Multonmah, but there are 13 of them, and about 10 miles of trails to hike and view them. The biggest of them was this one, called the south falls. It's about a 200ft drop. If you look close, you can see there's a trail behind the waterfall, and some people standing on the trail.

Thanks for the kind words, Mothership. I used to do lots of photo-journalism, and something I learned from that work has informed my art pix:

Take lots of frames, and hope that one turns out well.

Actually, this specific photo was one of perhaps three frames I shot. I wound up using a manipulated version of it as the 'header' graphic in my blog:

http://www.ain-soph-aur.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/header2.jpg

and as a logo for the band I'm in:

My wife and I didn't go all the way up. We just went to the first bridge, and wandered around in the woods for a bit. We both were a bit unprepared, not realizing that we should have worn more appropriate shoes.

Your photo is amazing! *Envious*

Well, that is high praise indeed, considering the source! Thank you.

Isn't his pic awesome?

Awe. Again, thanks.

Hmmm, summer in Arizona? There's no way. I would die. It's only mid 80s in my neck of the woods & I can't hack it.

Usually I prefer the dreary weather, but after the third day of being out & about in it I was a bit done. We didn't get as far as The Dalles. We considered staying there since the Gorge was our main draw, but decided on Portland since we wanted to hit up Cannon Beach too.

That's beautiful! I would have loved to go there if we had time and the weather had permitted.

Awe. Again, thanks.

Yes, I subscribed to the take more & sort through later process too.

Yeah I was concerned about going all the way up to the top of Multnomah. It was rainy & slick, but I didn't want to miss the opportunity. Luckily I had raided REI before the trip so I was prepared for the conditions. I still got soaked though. :(

take more is always a good idea

thats how I ended up with some of the best shots from

the caribbean

sorry but I need sun and sun and then some sand and sun

though this white body might just scare a tad too few while enjoy the fauna and views of white sand and jewel colored waters

Maybe I should steal the idea and post some in my thread

ehhhhhhhhhh who would want to see that scary old thing

Outstanding

Some more...

Very sexy. Love your legs and ass

I'm not sure how I feel about these so I can't promise that they'll be up for very long. It's been a while & I figured I need to get back on the horse & post something.

It's a bit concerning that posting scantily clad photos constitutes "getting back on the horse"...

Oops.

Well, I don't presume to know what you're feeling, but I can tell you what I'm feeling. It is best summed up in a single German word:

Thanks for getting back on the horse ... ahem ... and thank you even more for the innuendo. There's a strange little objective part of my brain that muses on why the female form artfully draped in lovely lace underthings is more titillating than the purely nude form. Perhaps it's an experience I had in Australia years ago on a nude beach where, to my surprise, the erotic quotient was actually lower than on beaches I had been to elsewhere where little strips of cloth framed visual sexuality.

I suppose this is a very long way around letting you know the new photos here are verrrrrrry nice. Hubbahubbayowza nice. Delightful to gaze upon, inspiring and ... ahem ... uplifting. (Thought a minor innuendo in return would be appropo.)

I'm so glad you're feeling better, was a little concerned for you.

thanks again and take care

As always DRL, lovely photos. You are a very sensual woman. It's fun to imagine what might be going through your mind when you take these photos and when you post them.
I sense there is an editors working session that might go on and that you are a bit selective in your publications.
I appreciate your effort :)
It's good to see you back in the saddle!
Oh and a nature shot... I am on the right thread aren't I?

Wow, welcome back, and thanks for welcoming us back with such incredible pictures! Looking amazing as always, what beautiful lingerie you have, DRL :) Here's hoping that all is well and that the horse you got back on treats you very well! ;)
