Hey all! Long time reader, first time poster. Not an original Floridian, but I like the area around Fort Walton Beach just the same. Being in the military does have some perks.

Kym, if you ever do drive up here, don't worry; I have a rod you can use all day and into the night.:D

Well thank you Bill for your generous offer of "your rod"! I would gladly enjoy the use of a rod that is ready for both day and night fishing :p Being as I am one who is ready at all times for the "BIG" one to nibble my.....bait. ;)
Enjoy your weekend Sweetheart and I look forward to your tail, OOPS!!......:eek:, I mean tales soon!

Well, where ever ya'll may be, hope its bright and sunny! :cool:

Brevard County checking in. The weather is hot the migration is not that is if you are a birder.

Still looking for salsa/mambo dancers out there.

Actually John, I'm looking for the annual migration of the white breasted snow bird to return to the northern reaches of the counrtry. Although that migration is becoming less pronounced as each year passes, due to more of them staying on thru the summer months now. :(

Big L; yes, I love the beach at any time, but unfortunetly; my job doesn't permit me to enjoy anything very late at night.
Damned alarm goes off far too early! :rolleyes:

-kym- trying to wake up to go to work :(

welcome Aitrus

The Emerald Coast welcomes you Aitrus. Glad to have you around. If there is anything I can do let me know, email me or something. These are my stomping grounds as it were.

Working 13 days straight!!! I'm too old for this crap. Deadlines often make dead people...geez. I might be ready to do some fishing when this is over Bill.

Thanks for the warm welcom guys. I'm kinda used to the area, having been here for a while. Don't worry, I'm not claiming to be a resident or anything. I just like the beaches, even if I don't go to them very often. I burn easily. Damn my Alaskan hide!

The Spanish are slowly coming back in, but the Kings have yet to arrive. Probably another week or two. Give me a shout and we'll go. I was on the Ft.WB fishing pier yesterday scouting it out. Very slow going there, too. Now if we could get Kym to join us that would be one fine catch!!

~~laughing~~ You made my morning Bill! :) Thank you for the compliment. Just arrived home from another grueling day of work. Would love to be fishing instead of working! A bad day fishing certainly beats a good day on the job. >>sigh<< But I have to pay the bills some way. :(
Now, if I could just pick those 6 winning numbers, I could fish whenever and where ever I wanted! :D:D:D
Best wishes to you Bill, Don, and....Aitrus for a wonderful Sunday! :kiss:

-kym- shedding the work clothes for the swim suit :cool:

Silly me!

I was trying to post a reply to this thread and ended up making a new one. I have only just joined and wanted to meet some naughty and nice fellow Floridians.

So, hello from Tallahassee.

kisses,

Good day Florida!!

Greetings to all of my fellow Floridians [and to our new Litsters too!:rose: ] on this 7th. day of April.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and the week has begun well too. My work day has just finished and it went fairly well. Makes for a good week when that happens. :)
The sun is shining brightly and its a helluva temptation to say to heck with household chores and rush off to the beach, but.... I have a very special guest arriving in a couple of weeks and need to get my house in order. So, it appears that its all work for kym today and no play :mad:
Perhaps tomorrow there will be time to soak up some rays. :cool:
Be well and happy all and when life tries to bring you down, think of the snow they are having up north and be thankful that you live in Paradise! :D

-kym- 16 days days until my patriotic duties are satisfied as the Bedroom Diplomat to the UK!! :p :devil: :D

One day Kym you'll have to tell us all of your adventures as "Bedroom Diplomat to the UN." I just don't want to hear about the French.

Bill

Oh dear! No French here!!

Ahhh Bill........one of my duties as Bedroom Diplomat is to keep confidential those things that go on under cover from the rest of the world. It is a highly secret affair and not something I am able to broadcast to all. Present company could be excluded, and is contingent on many factors and would be welcomed with the correct clearence.
As for satisfying my dutiies with the French??? :eek::eek: Egads Man!! That is too perverse to even contemplate! The only thing this American woman has found the French good for was the making of whine (oops I meant wine) and cheese. :p

Bill have a great day and if you are fishing, think of me; working dilligently at the salt mines this morning. :( Would much rather be fishing with you!! :) :) :)

-kym- Only using my talents with the Brits. :D

Welcome

Welcome Waterkemist and Bunnygirl and hello from the NW part of the state. I'm in Ft. Walton Bch. myself, where are ya'll from?

:rose: INCOMING nippy weather Kym, get ready..geez, wonder why they call it nippy:heart:

You are right on the money, Bill. Kings in about two weeks, they just started hitting in South Padre and Galveston. Catching Kym would indeed be a treat:)

~~~laughing~~~ Don, would you be referring to my nips??? :confused:;)
Babe, I don't believe its supposed to dip below the 60 degree mark here. Unlike your end of the state. Our weather today is partly cloudy with some sunny periods. Its supposed to rain later this afternoon, and it appears to be building up to the west. We certainly can use a bit o' rain, as its been several weeks since our last downpour.
Ahh, You and Bill are the sweetest! :heart: I think its going to be time to visit the NW part of our great state before long and meet such nice gentlemen as yourselves. I hope that I don't offend anyone down in these parts, but its rare to find men like ya'll in the southern portion of our great state.
In fishing, I believe that the Dolphin are beginng to show up a bit and I have heard of reports of Wahoo being caught as well. Kings are spotty but still around, though its mostly snakes and not smokers. Cobia should begin their yearly migration soon and with luck, I'll find someone to get out to fish with for them.
Don as ever, its good to see you around and one fine day perhaps we can get a skirt wet. :devil: :D
-kym- Wahoo!! I like those wet skirts! :)
G'Day
Top of the Morn' Miles and Cassidy:cool:
Welcome from nawth floda... I feel validated folks, a somewhat intoxicated and highly oversexed sweety from MTV's spring break special thought the "Redneck Riviera" was a wonderful name and that the people here were the greatest she had ever met! Right on!!
Of course, I was only watching it for the..er...music...yea that's it.
:rose: Kym...you keep saying "ya'll" like that and I'll melt! I would be honored to get wet with you if our paths ever cross...I hope they do:kiss:
Send me in coach, I wanta play left field.
Why Darlin, can't have you melting in my hand. My mouth would be a much better place. ;) :p
Ya just never know when and where our paths may cross Don. You could run into me when you least expect it. So keep those wet thoughts close at hand and possibly one fine day they will cum (oops) true!:devil: :D
-kym- Melts in your mouth, not in your hand :)
SIGH
Keeping wet thoughts "close at hand" is about all I can do lately.(sigh) I would very much welcome other options.:rolleyes:
I find myself, having completed the job early, with some free time, YES!!! Deadlines suck. Time to move on to another project. Anyone know of a construction superintendant opening, let me know, I am VERY good at what I do (shameless plug). As long as it has "FL" in the mailing address.
:rose: Someday, Kym :rose:
Darlin; come over and allow me to ((hug)) you, poor dear. Just rest your head right there on my.....shoulder and I'll make you forget your troubles for a bit. Its a terrible situation to be in where one finds themself with no option but Mother Thumb and her four daughters; but look at it as both safe sex and you never have to worry about another's mood. :rolleyes: Ok, so I'm digging there Don, but at least I'm tryiing! ~~~laughing~~~ Perhaps I'm trying your patience a bit too much. :p
I hope that you find work in the area you desire. I'm sure that with a good resume you will be able to find just what you are looking for, in the area you want to be. Lots of building going on all over Florida at this time. Wish I could help Don, but whilst I am connected, I'm not that connected.
Good luck in your search and who knows??? :confused: Your job may bring you to southern Florida! :cool:
-kym- Wishing the sun was shining and it was warmer today :(
