Oh honey, I would never deliberately neglect you......um......I mean ya'll.

In all honesty, when hubby is on a job like the one in Crescent City, it makes me nervous. His job is very dangerous! I have to do something to keep busy and so I paint or build something. LOL, when he called to say he was on his way home the other night I told him the house was a different color than when he left and to not miss his turn. I am in the middle of painting the exterior before it gets too darn hot.

OK..I guess I can forgive you....but you owe me..BIG..

Well another evening is approaching Wintermute. Almost hump day!! Thank you for the kind words. Hugs and kisses to you!! Hope your day was very well.

Well, today was not a good day.

Turns out I'm laid off, they told us they might have to do this a few months ago so I took a cut in pay and hours to accomidate until things picked up and I took a part time contract job. Well today they said they were more than likely not going to make this payroll, which would be Monday.

Lucky the guys at the other place love my work (and the fact that I'm working as a contractor and not a "regular" employee) and offered me as many hours as I would like to spend here. Unfortunately this is not a permenant thing either.

I still need to borrow more money than my Grandparents can afford to lend me as a stop gap until next Friday.

So, now I have to find a way to work 50 - 60 hours a week and look for another job in the IT field in an area where no one is hiring IT. *sigh*

If anyone happens to know of anything in the Tampa/St. Pete area or Sarasota/Bradenton area, could you PM with with some contact info. I have 12 + years of experince with computers, networking and Windows and have some management experience.

Things will work out Wintermute. I assume you have already posted a resume at monster.com. Try doing a job search on a few different search engines. A friend of mine did that and came up with a few but he was not yet ready to move.
