I met the SO there, or at least I had the really significant meeting with the SO there. We knew each other vaguely, having met once some years back, and were getting together with mutual friends for a day in London. I try not bring this to the SO's attention too often, but I did actually get an electric jolt of instant fascination just from seeing the SO down there while I was up above looking out the window of a restaurant. I had only seen the SO once before, and years before that, but I instantly knew (1) who I was looking at and (2) what an amazing amount of trouble I was in.
