Hello Miss Veebs , we have a popular angler Rex Hunt and that is his MO . Has generations of kids also kissing fish before release . I haven't seen the movie or read the book. And it's more in the forearm than wrist. Most people don't have strong enough wrists to fish all day. You use the whole arm. It's fum for grayling and trout fishing.
