First Unread ...

OK I'm expecting this to be a do do short thread with a simple answer (namly NY your doing it all wrong ).

I go to a thread and click to go to the first unread and it either dumps me at the very last posting or halfway down page 1 when I know I have postings of my own on pages 3,4 and 5.

Have I miss understood the purpose of this option, is it infact having a laugh? It really doesn't cause too much trouble unless I get to page 10 of 21 and have to come back later, so of hoped to go back to page 10...

It could be that someone edited something in page 1 and it wants to make sure you read it. I know on another forum I am on it's that way. Other then that, I really couldn't tell you.

Have the same (I think) problem. I really like the idea of the feature, but 100% of the time I get dumped to the very end of all posts ... even if the last post I really read was a page back.

It's laughing at you!

You should try to get to page 100 of Gusty's 300 page threads sometime. There's no way that I have found.
I wish there was a way to click in the page number and go straight there.

I think the problem is that you have not subscribed to the thread, therefore there is no record kept of which is the last post you read.

If you subscribe to the thread, then click last unread post, it works.
