If he’s 18 and needs a sitter/cannot care for himself, that feels very uncomfortable to me. Like predatory on someone with special needs. I think this one is a bad idea.

This is a fair response. He was not differently abled, more just odd. She might have been there to get assistance with her homework from him. I'm not entirely certain of the basis of them being together that evening.
I say same classes because the male protagonist recounts sitting behind her and letting his knees rest on her arse and being excited that she doesn't say anything.
